I believe it’s low enough in elevation to be accessible year round. Then it just comes down to your rain gear.

Reply to A ferry across the Columbia River? by pejoshkwe
I would think this would be the Keller Ferry as someone mentioned above. It’s in Ferry County. The two closest towns on hwy 21 are Keller and Republic.

Reply to Can’t you Read the sign? No parking ;) by Terry-Scary
This looks like Snoqualmie Pass accident bingo. Pickup truck. Too fast for conditions. Didn’t stick the landing. I can’t see the Let’s Go Brandon or Trump for Prez stickers but that may just be the picture. Any others?

It is. Park at the Ruby Beach parking area off of Hwy 101. Head north once you walk down to the ocean. 47.71800, -124.41925. It’s less than a mile from the parking area. It’s fresh: few signs of decay as of Sunday and the smell wasn’t that bad.

There a several bedroom communities in commute distance to Seattle. Every compass point has something to offer from a ferry commute to recreation and mountain access. Do your site visit, rent a car, and go explore.

Another fan of the heat pump here, especially if you already have a central furnace to circulate the air. Given what’s happening with the climate you will be grateful to have AC in the summer.

2 has less lanes, more towns, more stop lights, more speed traps, and fewer passing zones.
