I didn’t get this message. Marshals in my building said to clear by 6 but it didn’t seem super urgent the way it has been in the past.

I work near Lafayette Plaza. We were all told to leave the building by 6pm and there are a ton of police vehicles on Vermont Ave outside the Veterans Affairs office. But everyone seemed pretty calm and not expecting much violence.

Sadly yes, that’s what I paid even with 50% insurance.

Why Baltimore as opposed to one of the NoVa suburbs? Taxes are better there, commute will be easier on the few days you need to come in, and you can find cheap rent. Having lived in both cities, there’s no getting around the fact that NoVa is a nicer place to live.

If anything, the DMV (at least in SW) is pretty easy to deal with—definitely the easiest experience I’ve had registering my OOS car compared to the 6 other states I’ve lived in. It’s very organized, and the employees are generally helpful.

This. I work by McPherson Square and even getting in/out of the metro station is scary, let alone the park itself.
