I’d run it so it’s profitable, but if there was a dip i don’t think id ask my staff to take a pay cut to keep my salary at 100%

Well, interstellar probe travel should be possible before then, but humans are leaving the solar system anytime soon without some revolution in tech.
One day we will make it, probably in massive several km long O’Neil cylinders powered by nuclear drives able to scavenge interstellar gasses.
First though we should be looking get a dyson ring round the sun to solve power needs

I absolutely do want them accountable, but I didn’t think they had full qualified immunity like the cops do.

Hi. I might be late to the game. Full disclosure I’m a white middle class beardy guy with an English accent, so as white as they come.
I for one would welcome you and your family to Vermont, I have zero tolerance for racism and neither does my friend group who stretch from downtown Burlington to the NEK. Does that mean there are not ass hats? No, sadly not, they are ubiquitous and to be found under any slime covered rock (sorry slime, you serve a vital purpose in the ecosystem, unlike racists).
If you do move here let me know and maybe you and your family can meet up with me and my wife and grab a bite to eat/coffee?

I agree with what you say, however the goal is to raise everyone out of poverty.. it’s just BIPOC folk have a substantially further to be pulled

Being woke isn’t about beating people with the actions of there ancestors, it’s about make people aware of what happened, what continues to happen and that correcting a this together will take non passive actions.
Even today many BIPOC individuals suffer because of the loss of multigenerational enforced poverty

In snow you want to be gentle on the gas/brakes
If you can afford a set of actual snow tires they will make a huge difference, even if you just put them on the front (in a FWD vehicle like yours that’s the set that does 75% of the work)

I think you are assigning more malice than needed.
Woke doesn’t mean “white people are bad”. It does however mean one has to look at systematic racism as it stands that you may not be aware of. The right likes to frame this as an attack, it’s not.

No. Not racist, just oblivious. And oblivious is not synonymous with stupidity.
There are a lot of experiences a white guy will be very unlikely to experience that minorities or women do. It’s really eye opening to learn.

But the workers make the money and do the vast majority of the work. During to good times owners get to reap the rewards and take responsibility for the success, during the bad time they should also absorb that too as much as is possible, and take responsibility
