thx, but it's pretty typical for really old buildings in town. I'm just glad to have an apt.

I literally have no control over the heat in my apartment. It's an old building and we all share the same heat, set by the property manager :(

Those of use in older apartments have no way to adjust the heat. Thank god for space heaters and blankets and hot tea.
But if I could adjust my heat, I would not set it that high. We grew up closing off rooms, opening taps and wearing socks and sweaters.

I use dried kelp in certain dishes (Nori), so I'd be open to try some local.

I do keep miso on hand, so if I can't find any Marmite, I'll try to sub for that. Thanks again! :)

Maybe molasses and some salt could stand in for Marmite?

A friend's wife who's originally from England told me that Shepard's Pie has lamb while Cottage Pie has minced beef (ground beef).
That said... I still make mine with ground beef and call it Shepard's Pie :)

If the car is gone, then it's an opportunity lost.
If the car is still there, yes, I'd call now.

How long ago was it? If he's still parked there, yes, you can still report him.

Call/Message police. That space is no parking so handicapped have room to open lifts, move wheelchairs, etc.
Even if the lot appears empty, it's not the place for him.

I swear I'm not a paid person for Mint but one thing that was an unexpected plus for me was when they suggested a *lower, cheaper* plan for me after my Unlimited 3-month intro period ran out. My account showed that I'm using mostly WiFi and so really didn't need the more expensive Unlimited data plan.
I've never had a phone company recommend that I spend less to match my actual data use, so that was a bit cool, for me :) I'm on the $15/mo plan and pay for the year. If my travel goes up in 2023, I may need to adjust, but for now my data is always easily below the limit bc WiFi is basically everywhere.

I've been using Mint for 1.5 yrs now and love it. Great coverage and signal strength in the Portland metro and surrounding area. I also travel a lot to NH and have never dropped a call or streaming music.
Nothing but good things to say about Mint!
