It will be similar to how tony stark and jarvis interact to create things, able to grab objects, form terrain, adjust physics, move camera, etc in 3d space. Could even use a bci to communicate abstract ideas or visualizations and see them in front of you in real time. But before then, will probably be text or advanced game engine on a desktop

Probably won't be text, you'll just have a conversation with an agi, using ar/vr to direct aspects of the games creation in 3d space

We won't be thinking the way we do now, most things we do are guided by the primitive nervous system and our subconscious. By the time we have this technology, we will likely only enable the animalistic attributes for fun, just as we sometimes walk for fun

Exactly... youtubers, actors, models, musicians, etc will be easily extrapolated, digitized, and modifiable. You could just direct an algorithm to analyze someone like Lex Fridman and have him interview countless clones of himself. The world is not ready or aware of this at all

Right, humans move very slow, and our culture usually moves alot slower than technology. Once we can augment our mental capability, then we will see a huge visible change in daily life

I was thinking about multimedia generation, and how once models are able to generate audiovisual media that is sufficiently indistinguishable from "real" multimedia, the world as we know it will be moving at a pace we've never seen. This is pretty close to happening, and it will be feasible to generate ANYTHING we can think of, as long as it can be represented by visuals and sound. The general population is nowhere near ready for this, and it will change so much so quickly, even before hitting AGI

Not sure if it will be advanced enough to be fully practical for the average consumer (like being light, fashionable, secured, etc), but even today we have stuff like character.ai, play.ht, and various ar headsets. These could be combined into one product on paper, but it would be pretty scuffed.

Using an AR headset and tracking to manipulate a 3D GUI that surrounds you, instead of using flat, 2D displays. A near-general AI assistant/collaborator that you can work with to brainstorm, research, create, or plan out ideas within this 3D space.

I think of that alot too, imagine someone creates the most disturbing image possible and somehow spoofs the sharing system of an ar headset, displaying it in fullscreen covering your entire field of view

Soon we will be able to turn our surroundings into any style we want with headsets

It's not exactly "without prior knowledge", but more "without prior skill", since a prompt creator still needs to have some level of knowledge, whether it be of art styles, lighting terms, camera types, lenses, adjectives to describe, etc. Even still, there will be a point at which there won't be a need to transcribe your ideas/thoughts to text, and AI will just be able to make your visions real.

He just observed the evolution of technology over time, and used his gathered understanding to extrapolate into the future, just as AI does with image generation today; compiling existing information in new ways in order to create novel ideas.

Eventually in fulldive we will be creating fully interactive experiences, sharing them, and modifying them as they move from person to person. Copyright will likely dissolve, as everyone will be evolving eachothers work, mixing and matching ideas in endless ways

The thing is, if the average consumer will be able to create what today is considered AAA, then game studios like Activision would be able to create games far beyond what is possible today, unless indie devs can come together and form an ethical studio
