Yeah, that's a lie. They're going after said recipients too.
They recently told my brother he has to pay back 20,000 bucks- he was actually laid off and not working. He appealed and the employer didn't even show up, but they're still standing by it.
They're going to screw over innocent people and the bad actors are going to get away clean, same as it's always been.

It has to be documented pretty well, though. A promissory estoppel case is hard to pull off.

I'm convinced that all the carve outs and protections from laws that cops get either goes right to their head or straight up attracts the kind of people that want to break laws.
It's insane to me that not only are they not held to a higher standard, they're actually often exempt.

I didn't read much of his personal sub, I just saw a couple and saw how he behaved overall.
I was banned much earlier than when the big mess started, and at that point didn't realize what kind of guy he was- I went out to subs for/by sub mods to see if I could get any feedback or thoughts. I was honestly confused and trying to figure out how I got banned and how I could reach out.
He wound up stalking me to those subs even though he had me ignored so he shouldn't have been able to see my posts (or mine his), lying, editing posts, and doing everything he could to slander me out there. By then the drama had started here too, so it became really obvious how unhinged he was.
These are the types that the FBI says to the news "We had him on our radar for some time" after they've done some horrible nation wide headline type stuff, is my take.

Still doesn't address what I said. We've got plenty of laws, including some pretty big federal ones, about what you can and can't sue for, but it still happens anyway. And sometimes successfully, no less.
Like I said, this could be good if they do it right, but I've been around long enough to see how government usually does things.

Telling me that and downvoting me won't convince the lawyers of those companies or prevent frivolous lawsuits and legal fishing attempts.
Besides, even with that in mind, there's still other health code issues to resolve.

This could either be good, or it could be costly and open the businesses up to legal liability.
If the government makes it a law, it's almost certainly going to be the latter.

At the end of the day, adding "partly to fully naked ladies" to a business model has been a thing for a very long time, all over the world.
There's been airlines, restaurants, various stores, weather channels, all sorts of things. Some are even successful (Hooters, anyone?). I'm honestly a little surprised "topless dispensary" is a new idea.
