The problem I think (I hope) most people have with the whole thing is that it doesn't do much to solve the predatory behaviors of the schools. It just makes certain people that did pay theirs, or that didn't go at all, feel like they screwed up by doing the "right" thing.

Unless you really think the government should discriminate based on politics, telling people like this not to make the office look bad is about all we can do.

I think reprimanding him for posting biased stuff and making him stop is fine. Judges shouldn't be behaving in ways that make them look biased either way.

What gets me is how many people think he should be disbarred for having a different political opinion. That's some fascist, dystopian stuff right there.

This honestly sounds like a nothingburger. None of his posts have anything to do with his actual job, they just look terrible, which makes his office look terrible. They told him to cut it out, and he is. Seems pretty much like everything's actually working as intended for a change.

To be fair, that's generally already illegal, and multiple times over depending on who's doing it.

I'm not sure if standardization of firearms laws where some states get stricter and some looser, would actually improve things or not.

Automobile laws are largely similar across the board and they're still regularly violated, too.

It's dipping into conspiracy theory territory to say this, but it seems like the big news companies only report on certain uses of firearms. Other types don't really make the cut.

America's got this perfect storm of poverty, oppression, and mental health issues, yet wealthy and free enough for people to take action while suffering from those first three.

Comments like this never help anything on either side of the debate. Why bother?

I'm curious about "concern trolling" as well. I've seen that phrase thrown at things that were legitimate questions.
