The community would really respond to the different entertainment options but they do a piss poor job of advertising. Like they’ll post in one town Facebook group and maybe put it on the marquee. It’s really a shame how awful their marketing is

I occasionally go to the one in Warwick (NY). They run it as a double feature and second run theater. I think they make most of their money off concessions.
It seems like even normal movie theaters are struggling now. There’s one by me that converted one screen to a stage and screen so they can do other things like comedy nights and RHPS

There was one in newark during the pandemic. Idk if it stuck around. I had heard it was close to MacArthur so not dark and pretty noisy.

Reply to Interior car detailing in Bergen county by logan44man
Let me tell you- I had never had my car detailed and I have a dog and kid. The car was pretty trashed. I had to make a work trip so I decided to get my car cleaned up before. AG Auto Detailing did my car for about $150. I didn’t get like a ceramic coat or my rugs shampooed but the car looked brand new. They provide quotes and scheduling via text +1 (201) 364-7871
Edit: mobile operation. They came to my house. Didn’t even need my hose. They have a system setup in their truck

Tolls for one way is like $20-25 with most of that being in NJ (assuming you start at the northern end of NJ)

I like 95 all the way. The auto train from Virginia is great. I also like to leave NJ in the afternoon/evening and drive till 1/2am (about ten hours).

For that combination, you’re probably looking at Dave and Busters.

Instacart is already a subscription service. I don’t see why they can’t setup a deposit/refund system for plastic crates. If you get consistent deliveries, next driver can collect the prior crates or something

Some cars have HD radio. It’s like “hidden” fm channels. I think it became more popular with 2012 and later cars

You know how when your odometer rolls over it starts back at zero? That’s what the system is thinking happened because of the new meter. Call them up. It should be a quick fix. u/whiskyechotango is correct

If towns are allowed to keep the blue line in between the yellow/white lines in front of PD buildings, then let the signs stay! If you weren’t aware, the blue line is also against federal regulations

Go to the section for “hours of work, jury duty, and closings”, then select “break periods”.

State law is if you are under the age of 18 you must be given a 30 minute uninterrupted break for every 5 hours of continuous work. As an adult- there’s no law state (NJ) or federal for employers to provide breaks

NJ doesn’t actually require breaks. It’s just a douche move to not give them.
As for the changing your hours, that’s a major concern. Get some proof (take pics of your timecard every day). Then department of labor complaint for wages.

Reply to comment by yankeeblue42 in New Jersey already bans smoking in parks and on beaches, but it could soon extend that prohibition to a slew of other public spaces: Assemblywoman Murphy reintroduced a measure that would expand the smoking ban to boardwalks, race tracks, amusement parks, historic sites, and burial sites by rollotomasi07071
That doesn’t track. How many people smoke in their cars and throw the cigarette out the window? Since they’re a smoker in their own vehicle, wouldn’t they know to have a trash bin in their car?

Spots are big enough that you can put some chairs out in front of your car to watch the movie. I enjoy going for horror movies. The drive back to civilization makes you wonder if you’ll make it back bc now you’re wondering what’s lurking in every shadow
