Seventy years ago. Many of rhe soldiers were Chinese, whom like Germany, Japan, Italy, & Vietnam have become trade partners at worst to allies.

The standard of living in NK is among the worst in the world. Legend amd myth dont hold a candle to the kidnapping of Japanese citizens to the genocide of their own people.

Not ever making excuses or goody goody on American power but the datas clear.

Seal bladder clothes amd mukluks were the standard. Animals died by the trillions outfitting humans against cold. The lack of most mega fauna illustrates the challenges.

Alternative materials are needed.

The bulk of Goretex never goes outdoors. Just like SUV and trucks. Clothing is a status and fashion choice to talk to those around us.

Wool is the only natural fiber used in cold, wet extremes. Synthetic insulation, wind and waterproofing are beyond dominant in that area.
Alternatives ate needed. PFC free waterproof breathable is out but niche so far.

Tldr. Cotton kills in cold & wet. Synthetics need sustainable fabrics that match synthetic’s qualities.

Industrial food chemistry is amazing stuff. They cut, bleach or leach things into pure starch, fat, protein & zazzy flavors from ( you really dont want to ask about some).

Lacking fiber in your diet from real green leafy things, fruit or whole grains exacerbates things.

Balance in diet greens - starchs - fats - proteins in the least processed way helps.
