Why are some of the comments hidden even though they have been upvoted a bit?

Even though I'm sure I watched a lot of games over the years of his commentary, the only vivid memory I have of him was from FIFA 97 on PS1.

Something like "Good evening this is John Motson and welcome to FIFA 97 Indoor soccer.".

I think it stuck with me cause it was one of the first Playstation games I played and the fact that it had indoor soccer was crazy to me at the time, and him saying his name was just attached to it in my memory.

Wouldn't relegation just indirectly fuck over whatever lower team is there with them?

Cause they are obviously a good team which means after they get relegated there is a massive chance they would just get promoted anyway and the other team in the lower league would miss out on their chance to get a promotion had they not been there.

Other than selling it for more years later, how long would it take to even see a return on that investment when it's that much?

I was going to say I gave up after the first episode as if all the episodes have already been released but since only a few have it doesn't sound like I would've had much to go off anyway.

I'm not watching more because I couldn't separate it from reality where the stuff he was doing wouldn't just immediately have the cops called on him and just get arrested especially given his previous crime/s.

Do you do the same thing for every product you own?

Not only for the companies that make said products but also for the stores where you get said products, because chances are even those companies are doing shitty things, even to their own employees?

Do you seriously think individual people not watching the World Cup is going to have any impact on those topics when literally billions of people watch the World Cup?

Trying to be holier than thou doesn't work if you don't keep the same standards yourself across the board. Which I am going to go out on a limb and say you don't.

Because if you say otherwise you are probably just making an excuse to feel better about yourself. And also taking the easy way out because THIS specifically takes zero effort on your part to give yourself a pat on the back for thinking you are somehow making a stand.

Not to mention all the other shit the people who own TV networks are probably into if you dig deep enough that you probably mindlessly watch anyway cause it's out of sight out of mind for you.
