If you live downtown, sure, but not everyone does. If there was not market for Uber Eats then it wouldn’t exist.

Yea seriously. If I’m wasted at the house from drinking for a few hours I’m not about to order food on a driver app, I’m getting in my car and driving to pick up food. What kind of person would use a good delivery app when they can just drive drunk and pick up the food themselves?

Yep, the CIA created cigars filled with C4 in a plan assassinate Castro. They had to keep the weight low enough to avoid suspicion and leave enough tobacco in it so it would smoke and still smell like a cigar so there wasn’t a lot of C4 in it. The tests still showed it would blow a person’s face off if the cigar was near their mouth when it triggered.

Copper’s trails are located in a national forest. Last time I was there they made it pretty clear that you could get in trouble for smoking weed while skiing since it is still illegal federally and you were on federal land.

No, they should be paying them through advertising revenue like the non cable news channels do.

And if someone recently bought a house for $600K and has to move in 2 years and it’s only valued at $500K, they threw away $100K buying at the top of the market. Buying is not always the best option.

We’re 6 days away from finding out how the American people really feel about this. I have a bad feeling that too many will either be supportive of what these big energy companies are doing or they won’t care enough to make their voices herd.

The President wants to, the Senate does not. The President can’t sign a bill into law unless the Senate passes one.

Because we have separation of powers. The White House is just the Executive Branch, controlled by Democrats. Removing tax incentives or adding a windfall tax requires changing or creating new laws, that is handled by the Legislative Branch, so the House and Senate. Currently Democrats don’t have enough votes in the Senate to pass any laws that will increase corporate taxes on energy producing companies.

Riley testified that he has helped to arrest over 1K demonstrators over his 25 year career as a Capitol police officer. Funny that he has a long history of arresting demonstrators but then decided to help a J6 demonstrator avoid being arrested. Seems like he only arrested people if he didn’t agree with what they were demonstrating against instead of enforcing the law equally.

Every community sports team I’ve joined has been insanely competitive. Like I’m just there to hang out and have fun but like everyone else seems to think this is their shot at making the pros.
