Hi So when I asked for knives I got a very nice response that I am still reading and googling through thanks :)

Now for the Pots and pans, I am searching for one stop solution and here is my criteria.

Buy it for life ofc, Stainless steel both the pan\pot and SS handle,
Lid for everything only SS or glass Induction compatible(easy with SS)

The Pots and pans I need in this system

Very Big ordinary pan Normal big pan Big soup pot Saucier pot 2x pancake pans (ceramic) Big rondeaou pan Big saute pan

OK I think that is it

Is it possible to get all that from 1 company ?

PS. If there is a one stop solution for all the kitchen tools (no plastic) I would appreciate it

Thanks :)

Once again it's best to buy piece by piece what you need.

You want tri ply if going stainless. All clad is the standard which everything else is compared to, tratamonia is good enough.

I'd get a cast iron skillet and enameled Dutch oven separately.

I understand, and I will buy piece by piece, but I want it to be from one company as much as possible, both for visual consistency but also to make it easy to put into each other when putting back into the cupboard.

You are saying all clad, I will look into that thanks :)

Any other company that I need to look at ?

All Clad D3. Comes in every shape and size you could want. Induction friendly and all SS including lid so oven friendly too.

https://homeandcooksales.com/ has factory seconds/damaged packaging for sale at discount. That's where I got mine.

You’ll want 18/10 3-ply stainless (5 and 7 ply cost too much and take too long to head up, not worth the added cost IMO.)

Check out Demeyere, American Kitchen, All-Clad.

Depending on how big of a soup pot and large pan you want, you may be better off at a restaurant supply store for those.

I spent ages analyzing/trying cookware and ended up getting almost everything from Matfer Bourgeat. Very happy I did. We find the handles to be the best for extended use, though that’s a matter of personal preference. They don’t stay as shiny as some of the fancier more consumer oriented brands, but that doesn’t bother us — we are very tough on our cookware and actually like the ‘well worn’ aesthetic that results from it all.

I know it’s not on your list, but in addition to their stainless cookware you may want to consider one of their carbon steel pans for high temperature searing or other non-stick uses.

Vollrath is a similarly utilitarian brand and their higher end stainless lines are apparently well built. We have one non-stick pan that is inherently not BIFL, but has proven to be extremely durable.

We certainly looked at Allclad, but were actually more interested in Demeyere because of the rivetless cooking surfaces and liked the curved handles better than Allclad. Demeyere, like all Zwilling product can occasionally be deeply discounted so make sure you keep an eye out for sales. In the end both brands were a bit heavy and shiny for us.

Consider a cookware organizer/rack for your cupboards as we have found that not everything nests perfectly, even if from the same brand.

We skipped the frills of retail stores and got all our items from restaurant supply stores (either locally or at Katom or Webrestaurantstore online). Your challenge there will often be too much selection, rather than not enough!
