Best sheet cake?

Looking to get a half sheet cake for a party this spring... I was thinking Shoprite, BJs, Highland Park Market, or Big Y. I've had them from Shoprite and BJs in New Jersey before and both were good, but I see people online suggest Highland Park Market and Big Y a lot. Do you have a favorite? Or a suggestion for somewhere else entirely?

costco! had it for my baby shower, everyone loved it. the frosting isn’t too much and the cake was really soft

Yes. You can get a friend to get it for you, have them get you a gift card for costco, get a membership, buy a cake and cancel it for your money back, or pay $60 for the year.

I don't know what area you're from, but there are legit great independent bakeries around the state which would be better than a grocery store cake That said, whole foods bakeries are good

Wait what? Are you serving the cakes to the dogs at the party or the people at the party ? If to the dogs there are bakeries that will make specific cakes for dogs.

Highland Park makes the best desserts. I think Big Y is good for a basic sheet cake, as well.

Just had a good sheet cake from Big Y, half chocolate, half vanilla cake with a vanilla custard and whipped cream frosting.
