Dont buy your boots online. Find a place where you can try 'em on to make sure they fit. Pro tip: uggs aint nothing but ugly.

I’ve had a pair of Bean Crestas for going on 20 years and they are INCREDIBLE. Snow, ice, slush, even summer hiking. And they look beautiful broken in 😍

I have one pair of boots from Beans, but they are not those crappy faux leathery things. Tried them on before I went online and bought them at discount.

I have one pair that I went and bought from the store a few years ago. I love them, but they’re not insulated and don’t have the best tread on ice, I find. They’re perfect for fall and the post-winter softening.

Can confirm that Bean lined duck boots are pretty good, but yes, not great winter boots. I found some knock-off Sorels that are both comfortable and warm, and actually lace most of the way around my cankles, LOL.

Thick wool socks help boots in the worst weather, make sure to bring a pair when you try them on.
