Unless they have an incredibly draconian return policy they didn't make a huge sale.

Custom made products, like prescription glasses, might not be covered by return policies.

That assumes they are custom products. Reading glasses are often standard off-the-shelf items that you find for sale at places like pharmacies.

Reading glasses are rarely prescription. If they're prescription you usually just call them glasses.
