Only slightly. When my father started wearing readers he'd just grab the entire "$0.50 each" basket at the counter at one point. Goal was to find one he'd lost at the same rate he lost them. Lasted maybe 6 months.

Reading glasses are rarely prescription. If they're prescription you usually just call them glasses.

Can you? Yes, but hire an engineer to take a look and run the numbers for you to spec out the proper approach. It'll be a few hundred dollars at least.

The joycon issue is less that it's an analog stick and more that it's quite small and thus the drift becomes much more noticeable than on the pro controller or an Xbox/PS5/Deck. This clamp-on controller being much larger already insulates it from a lot of the common issues.

They won't experience the specific wear that people identify as stick drift, but they are not magic. Physical parts will always wear out eventually, and depending on how they mapped these the smaller deadzone common to Hall Effect sticks means you'll start noticing that mechanical slop sooner. They can also be affected by repeated strong magnetic fields, but those aren't super common. They also can only track motion, not position, so you have to be more careful to never be touching to stick when powering on the device. You might remember that same phenomenon from some older controllers, Sega used hall effect joysticks for awhile, but hopefully these have standby power so it's not a frequent issue.

Jackie's style (both in fight choreography and film-making) was a deliberate subversion of Bruce Lee's film style. He's talked a lot about how he was getting typecast into that mold but decided to flip everything in order to stand out.

While more noir than action, Bullitt has some of the same elements. Frank is supposed to be just a jaded average middle-aged cop, apparently described in production as "eats a lot of ice cream and never solves a case". Though obviously casting Steve McQueen upped the attractiveness level he's still pretty grounded compared to the roided-out 80's action stars OP is comparing to.
Die Hard was in some ways more of a return to form from Stallone and Arnold.

The newer planes can fly on 50% engine capacity just as the 747 could. Having 4 isn't necessarily better redundancy if you still need two working to fly.

Those technically rolled off the line two years ago, and are currently in the process of being modified to the specs of the contract.

Some of the blue loctite versions are cyanoacrylate glues. Superglue (the brand) also makes threadlocker.

They might use heat tape on the pipes themselves (or at least any at risk) or heat the utility rooms but not centrally heat the rest of the building.
