Wider lanes encourage higher speeds and are more dangerous.

I didn’t say make the lanes wider at any point. You can’t put a barricade in the middle of Kelly drive without making the whole thing wider.

My bad. I misread it.

However the point still stands, a divider would make drivers feel safer and encourage faster speeds.

Second, we should be cutting down on traffic and space devoted to cars on Kelly Dr, not increasing it.

I respectfully disagree. I drive slower next to barriers because I’m afraid of hitting them.
