Again?!

Let me guess, they are going to get away without paying customers anything because of a arbitration clause?

When are we going to ban arbitration agreements? There only purpose is to usurp consumer and employee rights.

Interesting. Thanks. I cancelled my service and switched to Mint because they refused to give me $100 bill credit for the breach. I don't think I was being unreasonable.

Mint is much cheaper and literally using the same network.

I actually suffered financial damages from my SSN and ID being used, so I'm not setting for anything less then 100% recovery of financial damages

not likely, no one ever "recovers" from Identity theft, they just reach a point where they might be able to have some normal life with a bank account.

I may never get anything I paid into social security

Not really the bank took my accounts away once I filed with the ftc and submitted docs to my own personal accounts. Now im out a bank account and out so much money when I don’t even have anything more than 1 Credit card now im on the hook for 8 for a total of $70k

ron_fendo t1_j5629bq wrote

To be fair it's likely you don't get anything from social security anyways because our government mismanages it.

Me too and they offer $25 because that should clear it up. I haven’t been a customer since 2006 and I keep being in their breach. All the damages I will never recover from

You are not entitled to $100 bill credit. You are entitled to what the lawsuit grants you. Great username name by the way 😊.

  1. mcafee data protection
  2. jack shit

I'm sure that the credit bureaus already do that, with or without monitoring services.

Call me stupid but i really feel tmobile is hella shady. They’ve been breached more than ever. Comparing this to hella scam calls. Those bar actors (scam callers) probably need new numbers. Idk but its hella sketchy

An internal cybersecurity team costs money. They probably just hire someone good with cyber when they need it (after a breach).

3

RoboNyaa t1_j53wywu wrote

It's really hard to find a great alternative because T-Mobile offers international data roaming without additional charges.

Other companies require that you buy day passes or simply don't offer it at all.

cjeam t1_j55duy1 wrote

You pay for it through the data breaches though, at this point it's their business model.

They are an horrible company. Once I got 5-6 messages from them at the same time about being charged for some reason.

I called them and they had absolutaley no idea that happened. With tmobile representetive on the call, I called my bank and they actually confirmed that I was charged more than once at the same time. I had to dispute it via my credit card since tmobile didnt know they actually charged me.

Their engineers probably fucked up something and who knows how many people were affected.

Ain't ever happen because of national ID antichrist fearmongering. The same people are fine with data brokers selling their info though.

In other countries you get digital ID and use it to setup new mobile accounts or credit card. It may be stored in ID card's chip. You can use your bank to verify your identity to third party instead of answering credit report trivia that may have incorrect info on you mixed with your relatives.
