I went early June last year and couldn’t do much but just sit around and swim. Going early May this year. I’m thinking we should have just planned it for around now since it’s already summer down there lol

Nothing crazy about these pies, but they’re cheap, perfectly sized, good enough treats with a unique brand that they’ve become extraordinarily popular.

Exactly my thought process. My mom moved to Florida recently. I thought about doing the same, but what would be the point? We’ll have year-round warmth here in my lifetime.

Seriously. We’ve known this was going to happen. Now we have to listen to everyone and their brother act surprised.

“Occasional.” People have different tolerance levels with driving. I don’t mind “occasionally” driving several hours, even with traffic.

You may have a point. Though I’m not so sure. When you look up the data for West Nile it’s just as rare in Florida as it is here. That seems like a National thing. It’s a huge danger in poorer countries, but not here.

Right. I try to do what I can as well. But if it feels good, it feels good. Am I supposed to be pissed off when it’s 65 and sunny when it would normally be 15 and snowing? I know a lot of hardcore New Englanders love the cold and snow, but I don’t.

Everyone’s getting downvoted for saying this; but I’m taking a balanced approach. I really do understand the tragedy of global warming (climate change). I mean, the entire ecosystem is disrupted, and who knows what that will lead to… however, I sure do love the warmth and lack of snow. And I’m going to enjoy it!

Courtland Club Sunday nights. Reserve online with a refundable $20 deposit. Great food and drinks, and the place is small and very intimate. Amazing jazz players. You won’t hear any voices over the music, trust me.

How so?
“Nothing in Massachusetts” implies the entire state. You’re only referencing Eastern MA. In the last 2/3 years there have been plenty of apartments built that cost less than 1,800 for a studio. So it’s not 100% accurate.

I’d say Worcester and Lowell both sufficiently fit your description. Swiftly Developing cities with pretty vibrant downtowns, a commuter rail line straight into Boston, and still relatively affordable (though it’s getting a lot worse especially for a single income). The kicker is that they’re both still a bit gritty. If you haven’t been to former industrial towns in New England, you’ll understand when you get here. But don’t let that out you off. They’re safe.
My personal pick would be Worcester. 2nd largest city by population in New England and it’s growing very fast. Lots of food and bars and shopping and what-not. Also lots of parks and nature.

Because they can. Simple as that. MA has no shortage of tourists. People complain about crowds in other states; well, MA can get pretty gosh darn crowded May-October.
