The threshold that is safe for human consumption when it comes to lead is zero. Yes, there is a threshold - it is 0.

No amount of lead is safe for human consumption. The amount of lead the FDA allows in food is to allow companies to sell you lead and make money, not because it is healthy.

Looks like that spring can use a reset.

That extra hole that looks like it is missing a set screw is probably there to hold or release the coiled spring; however i dont know for sure because i havent owned one of these before.

I think it may work like this if you wanna give it a try: loosen set screw, unscrew the bar from the door-side, open the door fully. Put the bar (sans door) in the "fully closed" position and tighten the set screw. Pull the bar and door together; reattach.

Pulling the bar out from the closed position at the end should have resistance to it, so be careful.

I always find those estimates of things like "just fill south dakota with panels" as a bit rediculous, heh. Plenty of rooftops on my neighborhood dont have solar; i dont know of any businesses in my area that have solar.

I generate more than i use, and only ~1/2 my roof is panels (i didnt want them to be garish, so they are on the back of the house).

I doubt much extra land is needed

Just a home-gamer, not a contractor here:

The p-traps i have replaced have not needed putty; they have all been fine with just the slip-on ring seals and screwing them down.

It is good to note: make sure they are on the right way (stupid younger me talking)
