Because this is not a political sub. We discuss politics, but mods stickying their own beliefs is abuse.

I'd say that for any kind of obviously partisan post. He also stickied random nonsense all the time.

Having a lawyer send the letter is often more than enough to dissuade shifty landlords. They're looking to prey on easy targets who don't know their rights (Like me, I got swindled out of my deposit when I was living on my own for the first time).

Having a lawyer send it probably will scare them off. They're just rats.

I haven't seen the same thing but let's just assume it's right.

Absolutely manageable. It's like any other storm. Shovel / blow when you can. I like to make passes at 8-12 inches with a blower in the (increasingly rarer) times we're expecting more, 4-6" with a shovel.

Never hurts to prep for losing power. I generally keep 5 gallons of water for flushing toilets just in case. I have a woodstove, so heat isn't an issue for me.

If you run into a situation where you don't have heat there's nothing wrong with warming up in your car as long as it's not in a garage and the exhaust is clear.

This is all extreme circumstances. Usually it's just shovel and chill.

The hilarious thing is that the right thinks using terms that left uses is some sort of clever stroke of genius but they're literally just mocked for doing it.

It does nothing but make the left laugh at them and all the while they're patting each other on the back.

It's almost sad.

I wouldn't say I'm hostile to it, but I do find it a little galling that people who have lived here their whole lives are being uprooted for transplants. I'd say people are hostile to wealth gobbling up our homes.

Don't even get me started on short-term rentals, investment properties and vacation homes.

We need to do something that allows NH natives or first time home buyers have a competing chance vs outside wealth.

I don't know what that is, unfortunately.
