In return, Iggy does the backing vocals for “What in the World” from Bowie’s Low.

Sonic Youth has a knack for killer openers, like “Dirty Boots” and “Tom Violence”. But this one takes the cake.

I really like Dälek and Rubberoom for non-gun/murder rap.

Talk Talk is also a great example. “It’s My Life” is the song everyone knows, but the trilogy of The Colour of Spring, Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are a brilliant transition from New Wave into Post-Rock before it was really a thing. Those albums are amazing, Mark Hollis was a genius, listen to them now.

Wall of Voodoo. “Mexican Radio” is the one hit, but every single song on The Dark Continent and Call of the West absolutely slaps.

Chuck D on Sonic Youth’s “Kool Thing”, which is kinda odd because the song is actually about LL Cool J.
A non-vocal one: the sax solo on Steely Dan’s “Aja” is by the great Wayne Shorter.
