My wife and I shop around for the best rates every year. It's the only way to save money on home and auto insurance. Agents may start to get pissy about it, but that's their problem for working in a predatory field.

I rented from At Home, it was a nightmare. Furnace went out in February so they dumped space heaters on our front porch and called it good. Water heater went out, they refused to fix it so I did it myself, then they wanted to fine me for fixing the water heater. They tried to nickel and dime us out of our deposit when we moved out too. They're overall unpleasant and unprofessional people. Fuck 'em.

Can confirm, they are expensive garbage but still better than satellite with unlimited data caps. I'm on total high speed, I get 6mbps down 1 up and pay $180 per month. It goes down a lot especially recently, but there's no data cap and I can stream HD netflix most of the time, even play games online. THS has us rural folk over the barrel and they price like it.

I doubt you'll reach any of these folks on reddit, but I understand your concern. Same thing happens north of Springfield on Highway H, jackoffs walking, running and biking on a 55MPH two lane highway. They always look confused like I'm the first person to honk and give them the finger.

> Sounds like Johnny has been hiring some incompetents to run the show.

Johnny runs the show, everything has to run up to him for final approval. He's the worst kind of micromanager who demands final approval then drags his feet until the last possible moment before making a decision. This leaves his employees scrambling to try to execute his "vision" on extremely short deadlines. While there are surely incompetent folks at base camp, even the smartest most hard-working individuals would have a hard time succeeding in that kind of environment.
