Reply to is there an uncensored version of "The end" by the doors literally anywhere? by Additional_King1967
There is a Door's compilation album called Legacy: Absolute Best. I am 99% sure that it is unedited and the F word is repeated several times over. It also contains Celebration Of The Lizard (unreleased track). It also includes the "she gets high" lyric unedited on Light My Fire. It also includes their cover of Gloria. I just saw that there is a single disc and double disc edition. Get The double disc version, It's available used on CD at Amazon for $3.60. it's a great compilation. Not sure if they released it on vinyl.

"Both Sides of the Brain" is one of my favorite rap albums ever. Del covers a lot of ground on this album. Classic!

I just showed this movie to a youth group of 12-14 year olds that I work with. None of them had seen it before and they all loved it!

IMHO.... Rap has been on the decline for the past 10-15 years. I am a huge fan of old school hip-hop but the new rappers just aren't cutting it. I buy about 20 albums a year and could not tell you the last rap album I bought. It was probably Del the Funky Homosapien/Amp Live's Gate 13 album (2018) with a couple of singles here and there. Rap is dead.

I still love this film. Every time (without fail) I watch the end scene where Neil goes back to the subway station to find Del and takes him to his house for Thanksgiving makes me cry uncontrollably.

I am actually having the opposite effect. I listen to Radiohead now and am wondering what I liked about them in the first place.
