I've tasted cherry blossoms and leaves, and wild cherry in many forms. The first two have so little scent and taste I can hardly believe that they can flavor a beverage at all by themselves. Japan also popularized drinking "maple water", e.g. sap, that tastes just like... water.

>I have been let down ordering "cherry blossom" cocktails that use cherry flavor. It dominates the drink and doesn't taste anything like cherry blossom.
Was what you said, but now you are claiming that your homemade drink WITH cherry extract tastes like something made with cherry blossoms... but also leaves. So which does it actually taste like, the leaves or the blossoms?

Suntory Sakura is made with the blossoms and leaves.

This stuff uses wild cherry extract, which tastes like cherries in my experience.

I hope you can make it back again some year when they are at peak bloom. There's also a very nice neighborhood called Kenwood in Maryland just a mile or so from the border which is fully planted with the same Yoshino cherries. Here's a cool live feed of the trees at the Tidal Basin: https://www.bloomcam.org/

The Washington Science Fiction Association is sort of a sci-fi/fantasy book club. They meet in members homes in the DMV twice per month. It might not be exactly what you're looking for, as I don't think they schedule individual books to discuss, but it is where fans and writers gather to discuss recent books in the genres. They also run a yearly convention, but I haven't been to one since the Disclave where they literally destroyed several floors of a hotel.

My mom did the one contact thing and it played hell with her depth perception, which led to her being injured. Do you have the same problem?

DC is remarkably pretty for a city of its size. I first came in the winter and it was the nicest looking of the big East Coast cities I had seen. The cherry blossoms cinched the deal.

Probably a lot because he has very bad hygiene and stinks according to a friend who worked with him.

My parents grew up in rowhouses in Philly, and my grandparents lived in theirs until the early 80s. I visited my grandparents often, and aside from certain inconveniences like the endless stairs didn't think too harshly of the rowhouse. But after the MOVE incident in Philadelphia back in May 1985, I never wanted to set foot in one of those nightmare firetraps again.

Do they drink milk from the goats or reindeer? If so, there is the source of sugar. Lactose present in milk breaks down into acid which harms teeth.

Was the horse killed especially for the occasion, and if so, was there anything notable about it? I.e. was it chosen for being a particular color, sex, age, etc.

I've had it for five years with no problems. Kaiser Permanente signed me up. You sound seriously crazy and you are completely ignorant of how the system works.

He can get a free phone through SafeLink Wireless or another Lifeline Service. I am sure he qualifies.

Depends, have they done something for you? Once many years ago friend of my roommate hung out all night, smoking my weed. After my friend went to sleep, I expected him to leave, but he was still there. I told him I needed to go get cigs on my bike, thinking that would get rid of him, but he offered to drive me there and back. I accepted at first, until he added 'as long as you give me five or ten dollars for gas'. I laughed in his face because it was less than a mile round-trip, got him to leave and never smoked him up after that.

THANK YOU to all who were able to participate. This tragedy took place in my neighborhood on a road I know well. Hope they charge the truck driver who killed her with everything likely to stick as it was entirely his fault.
While I did not know this young woman, a friend who was quite well known in the DMV cycling community was killed while riding earlier this year. RIP Bega.

Teddy Roosevelt Island is very nice and woodsy, with a reflecting pool in the middle. It's a short walk or shorter bike ride from Georgetown to Arlington. You get to it from a footpath from the bike trail that runs along the VA side of the river, not too far from Key Bridge. Bikes needed to be locked up before you could go onto the island last time I checked.

It gets deducted from the amount on the card, so yes, it is buying, and they'll get a hell of a lot more stuff if they know how and when to shop. I see economics is not your forte.
