The article says there were 14, but groups can easily get up to 30 or more. New Zealand is dealing with groups of 60+. And it just occurred to me that, unlike Canada, New Zealand has zero large carnivores that would prey on feral pigs. Crap, they are screwed.

I remember everyone laughing at that "what if 30+ wild hogs invade my farm?". I'm just sitting here thinking "you've clearly never met a wild hog."

Huh...they're not wrong. That is one ugly statue. It says it's supposed to be the arms and shoulders of the couple, but even knowing that, it looks like it's just arms holding up a penis. Or a sea critter that was found at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, brought to the surface, went all blob-like, and is probably going to be known as the cockfish.

Well, I'm happy to be wrong about that one. I'm content to let bees do their thing. But Yellow Jackets are so...ugh, they're just like "I see you standing waaaaaay over there minding your own business...and I don't like that!"
I suppose these bees didn't appreciate the talking to.

So African Honeybees...ok, yeah, I see why this happened. I mean, you'd still want a professional to remove European bees, but generally you can still exist in their general vicinity.
African Bees are about -50 on the chill meter. What an awful way to go.

I admit the electric toothbrushes are pretty good. I had one that worked really well before it died and I really need to get a new one.
Makes more sense to steal those than filling a giant sack full of regular toothbrushes. Even if the image is hilarious.

To brush your teeth.
It occurred to me I should have clarified that one.

6 electric toothbrushes? Christ I thought he just stole the entire aisle. Six toothbrushes = $1300? It'd be more cost effective to just buy a cheap vibrator and tape a regular toothbrush to it.
...wait, would that actually work?

Excellent. Let’s make an army of mini-Guilianis. They have to be small enough to follow the rats hard-to-reach spots.

I was thinking Owls and Hawks at first, but weasels would probably have an easier time navigating the tight spaces in New York. But if they're willing to let the birds build their nests for once, I'm all for hawks and owls.

This sounds like a job for weasels. 'Somewhat bloodthirsty' is right up their alley.
Of course, then New York would have the weasels to deal with, but cross that bridge when you come to it, I guess.

She says consumers should cherish home-grown produce.
Ok, how does this help address the lack of produce? And turnips are a vegetable, so is there some kind of turnip surplus at the moment?
