IT is so low priority it’s sickening. I left corporate IT a couple years ago to start my own shop but I failed because nobody will pay me enough for the work I do. They try to become your friend and then expect you to do free work for endless hours while paying half or a quarter of your invoice. If you walk in the door you get hit by 20 crying minions begging you to fix everything under the sun and by the time you get to the work you are there for you are burnt out already cause you know it was all for free. I love IT and been building systems since 1977 but it’s one of the worst jobs there is in corporate America. Thankless and you are blamed for everything under the sun plus all the fake friends you make along the way. People suck.

The new IT crowd especially the folks going to these software boot camps don’t know how to build networks, maintain proper information security or do much of anything outside of building front ends and web services. They are also unwilling to learn it because they don’t think it’s important. Not sure why that is happening or what schools are teaching.

I have no idea tbh and haven’t given it any thought whatsoever. All I’m saying is this law was being made to exclude certain private data from law enforcement and that doesn’t seem like a good idea. If they file the proper paperwork to get a warrant for information related to a criminal investigation it should be honor just like everyone else’s data. The only use case I can think of off the top of my head would be something related to a pregnancy or to impeach a persons testimony related to menstruation. As I’m not a woman I am really limited in coming up with things I do not completely understand.

Honestly this is a small government thing to do. The bill would of excluded in particular app data related to women’s menstruation. That is an additional process and not limiting a process. I hate republicans too but this law was going to make certain data unobtainable by law enforcement for whatever reason and I am sure they’re reasons you may need this data in a criminal investigation. In conclusion if this law was passed women would be treated as a special class and their menstruation data excluded from criminal investigations. That doesn’t seem like a good law.

So you don’t believe that people who are disabled or incapacitated have an absolute right to dictate what happens to their body parts or to be treated within the established guidelines of the medical profession? The minute she cut off those limbs she was going against what her job was and what she is insured for and authorized to do. She knew this too but did it anyways because she felt entitled to someone else’s body parts to stuff and display for her gratification.

If the Alameda CEO, SBF and the CTO got together in a room and discussed doing what they ended up doing then you have an open and shut conspiracy to commit fraud. If there is a recording or video of it which I’m sure there was because they are all that stupid, then the noose gets even tighter. The FEDs obviously have enough information that they broke her and the CTO in under 2 months. SBF isn’t getting a deal, he will have the book and the building thrown at him and he is probably spending a significant amount of time in prison.
