Anything more than a few cents(unless it's a extreme rewards card) is just an excuse to screw the customer for profit.

It didn't look like a sucker punch to me. Dude shouldn't have punched him but the previous poster made it seen like he snuck up behind him and punched him unaware.

It happened to me, vanilla gift card. Unopened, original packaging intact, drained of funds. I have no idea how they could do it but someone figured it out.

Don't trust them, I got one brand new, unopened, untampered and it was drained.

Happened to me as well. One of those vanilla cards, brand new unopened. Got no help from the retailer or card company.

Its a nice quiet town with lots of farms, orchards and woods. It doesn't really have any bad neighborhoods. Its near Nashua, which is an ok small city. I can't see anyone getting a room for $13/night, so that's certainly fishy. Have you reached out to the owner and checked it out on google street view?
