Seems like this was more of a design flaw or the application needed stronger materials. Pretty much the most inconvenient time for them to be down too.

Starlink at least is low orbit and decays and falls out after a few years so it can't really add to the Kessler effect. BUT....Space X is going to make it way cheaper to put stuff in any orbit, so peoples concerns about the growing tonnage in orbit isn't misplaced.

It's NYC, very very difficult to be armed there. Also it seems she's a crazy lady who's unarmed so it's possible she will just keep doing it till she is somehow finally locked up.
