Not today, maybe Saturday? From my perspective, Metro was on point. Rush hour schedule all day, good signage and guidance from staff for the tourists. The only snag was getting back into the metro station with a small wait when the platforms were too packed with people leaving, but Metro moved the huge crowds really efficiently today.

Main geographical gaps are the East Coast and Northwest. Depending how small you define regions obviously but interesting. Nice chart OP!

Biathlon is a big deal for me because it was the first sport where I enjoyed watching men’s and women events equally, and then I realized my gender bias in sports and changed my attitude across the board. I was a younger teenager at the time, so always a bit thankful. Also I hope the U.S. gets a medal soon.

Dude! That beach is gorgeous. I just want to visit now, but surfing there would be awesome (and freezing)! I’d be sure to keep an eye out for sneaky logs.

As a side note, I’ve wanted to visit that area for a few years to check out the Elwa River restoration efforts, which is such a cool project.

Pretty sure the best defense is stay away from logs in ocean surf. It’s not going to sneak up on you, but if you get tempted to get too close just for a better look, it actually might.
