Honestly most of the mezzanine album could be used as a reference point.
Teardrops, angel, inertia creeps, man next door etc.
Lot of variation in sounds, instruments, changes in dynamic range, deep bass. If it wasnt clear, I love that album 😀
I'd also recommend random access memories, and cross by justice

Wait until you see the thread in the summitfi subforum on headfi about the 3800 dollar 100mbps hifi Ethernet switch.
I shit you not it's there and there's actual people defending the product. There's tons of people there that buy into crap like that and in the screenshot from op's post. It's unbelievable how crazy some of the stupid shit is that people post on that website.

Give the rad0 a try - probably a used set to save about 1000 bucks. They're slammy, detailed and inoffensive. Super easy to drive too.

The susvara Is a hell of a rabbit hole to go down. It's a very fickle device, but a damn good one at that

You'd have to try both tbh to get a concrete answer.
If i was using a HD800, tho, Id go external OTL tube amp. Not one of your options, but really is a thoroughly enjoyable (and not particularly necessary) alternative/option.

Yeah it's about as close to a giant killer as you can get in this hobby. The amount of performance and the quality of the bass is friggen impressive provided you have the means to drive it (and it's not DOA).

I absolutely believe people have had bad luck with hifiman but on the flip side there's plenty of people like myself that own multiple hifiman headphones and have had zero issues.
So ymmv I guess. But their build quality definitely leaves something to be desired for the price.
Their customer service is decent fwiw, but I couldn't fault anyone for being worried about buying a set
