Kerry is a gem. She offered me some good advice after I brought her a couple absolute messes of 120 rolls when I was first starting out and even refused to charge me for the first one because she wanted me to get better first. I will only go to her shop as long as it's open, she beats Hunts on film prices too. Worth noting that she doesn't do black and white but anyone else around here just sends it out anyway. Neither Hunt's nor CameraWerks develop in house and have a 2ish week turnaround, while Kerry has same day (often same hour depending on the order) turnaround for cheaper.

Not to diss on Camera Werks, she's very nice as well.

You're trying to present facts to a shut-in who spends their time keeping the hobby of trying to frame Providence as some third-world center of random violence. It's an alt. The old account was Material-Fabulous and now this account suspiciously follows the same MO since that account has disappeared. If you disagree with them, some account called orangefan whatever will sometimes jump in to defend them. That account follows a similar format as this account, probably another alt.

Or by getting a rebate on a smart thermometer or energy efficient heating/cooling equipment! Just not now, because they've conveniently pulled the RI Energy Marketplace offline for a "redesign" during the season when you'd likely benefit most from anything like that.

I have mine through Sunnova, previous owners put them on with a new roof back in March '21. They're financed vs leased which was one of the deciding factors I considered before going forward with buying the house. Monthly payment was $149/month for the first 18 months and $204/month now with a 0.99% interest rate. Between March of '22 and now I have a -$900+ electrical balance with RI Energy, though the house is 2 floors with a gabled roof facing west and east with no cover overhead. This is an important factor, there is a single story house near me with panels that are completely blocked by trees and I have to wonder what the hell they were thinking.

Honestly I feel they are worth it, especially with the rate hikes. The most important thing is to read every line of whatever contract you're considering and read the reviews of the company itself. Also you should consider the idea of putting extra towards the solar loan vs your mortgage to maximize the benefits you reap over the lifetime of your panels. If that doesn't sound like something you would want to do then you may want to think longer about this. It's not a small loan, I don't believe RI has those installation rebates anymore. And if they do my sellers didn't take advantage of them (they were morons but that's a different story).

If you check out Herb Chambers try and talk to Tim in sales, he's the man. Blew my head gasket last November and needed a car. I caught a perfect match right when they listed it, called him off the clock intending to just leave a message but he answered and all but reserved it for me. Very low pressure (especially for car sales) and looks out for your interests. Just make sure you pass on the Millennium Extended Warranty if you're buying used. Or do what I did and cancel it at the last possible week to get your money back.

Used them once. No sorry, 3 times. The first time the guy cut the wiper fluid hose and didn't reattach it, so it would just dump out under the car. Then the guy who came back to fix that didn't put my wiper arm back on the motor correctly so it just just twitched up and down instead of wiping. Ended up just going to their building and waiting around for someone to fix it and will never use them again. Least I didn't have to pay for it.

People like Kalus know they don't need to provide a detailed platform, she's not running for the average citizen. I had the displeasure of having to attend an event for the Lt Gov candidate and got the same vibe from him. The crowd was all well-to-do people with nowhere to be on a weekday afternoon and he made it a point to remind everyone how his opponent wants to raise taxes on larger corporations.

The whole idea of candidates like her having a "platform" is a facade. It's nothing more than a wink and nod to the ones who can afford to put them in their pocket. She doesn't elaborate because she doesn't need to, her supporters hear the subtext loud and clear.
