It’s about the historical marine mammals when we were covered in glaciers

That’s what the back of that truck is actually talking about. It specifically talks about the ice age history, if you zoom in

I get it. I just happen to live by a rarely-used spur, and it is the absolute shortest way from my house to the school. I would love it if the kids could walk to school that way. Shorter and safer that the road routes.

In Hannaford’s defense, I forgot I bought that thing at the top, which was an unanticipated impulse buy.

My point is we are paying an awful fucking lot for groceries.

The one thing I bought that was a “known expensive” was maple syrup.

It’s hundreds of miles long in Maine. And I’ve driven most of it. So I can assume it somewhere in Southern Maine, which I pretty much a wood like the plague. But I’m always willing to venture out for good food.

I saw a lambo with Maine plates last month in Ellsworth. Honestly, I’m not giving these people a hard time for it, I just can’t believe that anyone local would subject cars like that to roads like this.

The school and the department are very good, but the fact that you reference the “warm climate” concerns me… for the vast majority of the college school year, the weather in Orono or anywhere in Maine is the opposite of “warm”.

In some of the antiques malls where people rent booths, people have certain specialties, like vintage clothes, Coca Cola collectibles, postcards, etc. I hadn’t these places, and every now and then there will be a booth that has old maps (I love them too). Try places like the Fairfield Antiques Mall and the Old Chicken Barn .
