I’d imagine it’d end with them driving him insane and fleeing from them. Makes me think of that writing prompt I saw a while ago that imagined Pennywise going after the boys from Malcolm in the Middle. Spoiler: he didn’t get a chance to eat the boys, but recognized the true master of terror when Lois came looking for them.

Wait, it was an ongoing series? Never read the book or watched the show, but a quick search on Wikipedia has it listed as a miniseries. Plus the book itself isn't terribly long either, so having it be an ongoing series would likely become repetitive at best unless it was an anthology or something.

That's actually a common misconception. It was mainly because of toy sales, with the higher-ups being disappointed with the toy sales and deciding to can it based on that. What's ironic is I think if they made stuff like Funkos based on the show versions of characters, they'd probably sell decently.

Yeah. Like, I'm pretty sure JEJ gave them permission to recreate his voice. And even so, it's not like it's a hard voice to recreate. They got a different guy to voice him in Fallen Order, for example. But because of the sound mixing and such involved in making Vader's voice all robotic and deep, you can hardly tell the difference.

As a fan of Remedy I hope this doesn't affect the show. As it stands, though, I can see them partnering with another streamer for exclusive rights to their library. Walking Dead Universe alone would be a big get for any service (regardless of opinions on the show itself), and that's not even getting into other popular shows like Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, Mad Men, Hell on Wheels, and Halt and Catch Fire to name a few. That'd be a pretty awesome get for Hulu or Netflix or whoever.

That might actually be pretty interesting. The idea of the free-spirited hippie parents and the conservative son was one thing in the Reagan administration of the 80s, but it'd be interesting to see how the parents and Alex (as well as the other siblings) respond to modern-day conservatism, specifically the Trump administration. One of the few shows where I think that kind of angle actually makes sense.
