Don’t worry both previous and current presidents and like any other very well connected individual are above the law. The law only applies to us commoners.

Fools downvoting you for speaking the truth. Guess the truth is too hard to swallow for some. At least the Bay of Pigs Invasion was far more sophisticated. Operation Gideon’s epic failure was well hidden by the mainstream media, it was a catastrophic embarrassment. And knowing how impulsive and dumb trump was with stupid suggested operations like shooting missiles into Mexico or exchanging Puerto Rico for Greenland, Op. Gideon was definitely within trump’s pathetic alley.

“Something the USA has generally gotten really pissed off about...”
Correction: Something US oil companies have gotten pissed off by way of their puppets in Capitol Hill.
But hey, it’s not about the oil, it’s about “free & fair democracy in Venezuela!”. Or at least, that’s the same old shit we’ve been fed when US oil companies want “regime” change, human rights and all the jumbo shit. Because nothing screams democracy like attempting to install a lead conspirator (Juan Guaido) to a failed coup d'état (Op. Gideon). That’s why we bent over to the Saudis and Qataris.

Maybe they should start using their counter terror task force or whatever and treat these right wing extremists as what they are - terrorists and traitors.

Houston is a progressive city. It’s just a city, so it can’t do a lot to distance itself from the backwards right wing extremists that control the state. Maybe in 15 years we can see a state wide change. Sooner or later, those new borns with Mexican heritage will be eligible to vote, not all will vote for progress but the majority will. It is really, a matter of time and getting people to register and vote.

Legacy admission and pay to play admissions is broad day life corruption, plain and simple.
Imagine being a poor student, working your ass off to get excellent grades, entrance exams scores (another corrupt shit btw), active in 5+ extracurricular activities per semester, and just to be rejected over little Baron with mediocre grades because daddy is an alumni and or is a generous donor of that school. These schools have no shame. Ethics my ass. With what moral grounds can they even enforce plagiarism when they are doing shit this?

The majority of college rankings are a big scam and I’m surprise other more prominent schools haven’t excluded themselves from this corrupt scheme. If anyone has the time, I strongly recommend watching a video by PolyMatter briefly exposing the flaws of school rankings. I linked it below if anyone is interested:

Depends, if he’s white, he will be considered a protestor or tourist, if he’s something else he’d be sent straight to Guantanamo and declared a terrorist.
