I’m offended to hear a car the same age as mine called old LOL. Youngest I’ve had so far.

The new train station is Pawtucket is probably going to add to that too, especially if they decide to build more parking.

17 is the high for the day, that’s being optimistic. It won’t reach that temperature until mid afternoon. It’s going to be dangerously cold outside.
That being said, I would plan some nice indoor activities nearby where you will be staying. You don’t want to be driving around in that weather. People have left some great options here, so won’t reiterate.

The owner is not loved in the community, also a lot of past and present employees call it a toxic work environment.. but hot damn those pastrami lox are too good!

Rebelle bagels has the best egg bagel with lox I’ve found.
They smoke their salmon in house, really tasty.

Are we talking like the sound of un-muffled dirt bikes on hope street, or is that just a providence noise?

Try using pirate ship, they offer discounted shipping labels. Usually at least 50% off the retail price, and you can print the label at home.

Partially yes, the parking industry would describe any facilitation of parked vehicles.
For example I manage a parking garage. But the company I work for operates parking lots, valet services, parking enforcement (both private and public), shuttles, and more.
It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work.

How far away are you willing to travel? I work in the parking industry, and many locations in and around Boston are hiring.

Borealis is great, so I have high hopes 👌🏼

The commuter rail is great if your schedule lines up with it, but keep in mind a monthly pass (which includes unlimited commuter rail and subway/bus/ferry rides) is over $400. Per month. But you’re ahead of the game after round trip commuting for like 10-15 days depending on if you have to take a bus/subway after you get to your desired train station.
Great solution if you can make it work, but if you work weird hours get used to a lot of traffic all the time. Either way plan on about 2 hours each way, give or take depending on your situation.

Agreed, especially considering the sub. It’s probably safer then driving in RI these days.

I would personally recommend just driving into NYC if that’s an option for you, it’s only about 3-4 hours (traffic dependent). Wake up really early, less traffic and cheaper parking.
If you do some research and pre purchase parking online, you can find some reasonable day rates. Then you have the added benefit of having your car to get around the city if you want to go somewhere further.
Pro tip, turn on avoid tolls on your GPS before you leave the house. Even if it’s like 20-30 minutes longer, some of the bridge tolls into Manhattan are extortionate.

The lifespan 2022 benefits guide should point you in the right direction, looks like they have an online portal. I can’t give you specifics not being an employee, But my girlfriend works for MGB and they offer lift ticket discounts.
N8710 t1_iw07cr2 wrote
What hospital do you work for? A lot of them have internal programs for discounted lift tickets.
Also, unless the weather takes a drastic turn skiing before new years will not be great.
