Reply to I'd like to go fishing. by JeanetteStrong
I personally would not - the Jones Falls (which feeds into the harbor) historically has had an issue with sewage runoff. There is also a ton of industrial pollutants in the sediment, including stuff from a chromium plant.
If you don't mind driving a bit there's a ton of good spots in the area - a lot of people fish right below the Conowingo Dam (go when they are running water through the turbines), also Sandy Point State Park. MD DNR also does a lot of trout stocking, I'm at work so I can't provide specific locations, but if you look on their website you should be able to find it. Lastly I would say go and get a fishing licence, I would imagine any body of water you need a permit, it's just that enforcement is spotty.

Patisserie Poupon, hands down - they've been in town for ages and they might be the best bakery overall in town.

There's sidewalk graffiti by my house that says In Every Dream Home A Heartache, which references a Roxy Music song about a blowup doll. Baltimore is weird, I love it

Reply to Any Collapse-Aware people around here? by xlllxJackxlllx
Climate change is happening, yes - and that is going to lead to A) warmer winters, like we're having now and B) changes in habitat/wildlife. I think if humanity does absolutely nothing to combat climate change it could lead to collapse. If your argument is 'this could happen if we don't do enough' then you need to reword how you say it. If your argument is 'this will happen and y'all need to be prepared' then I can't help you and you need to be relegated to r/conspiracy.

Sheppard Pratt has good therapy programs, also ARC of Baltimore in Towson does a lot of vocational work. It might also be helpful to get a referral from his PCP

I think it depends where in the city you are. I'm in Upper Fells and until a year or so ago there was a colony of feral cats in the neighborhood. I still see the occasional stray but I think they moved on.

I don't think you can get Natty Boh outside of Baltimore. And are you talking about salting the rim of a beer can with Old Bay? I've never heard of people doing that.

This is the correct answer - MD doesn't require bartenders to have licenses. You need to take care of taxes and liquor licenses if selling.
