Well put. Philadelphians are very real and I’d say they’re in touch with their emotions on the whole.

I wouldn’t say Philly people are gruff except when it comes to sports. Generally, people from Philadelphia are friendly and welcoming. The city also has unmatched access to medical care. That’s what keeps me living close by.

We have 4 equal seasons. Snowy winter, flowers galore in spring, hot summers, colorful autumn. There are forests everywhere.
Where I live, there are no dilapidated buildings, but I don’t have to drive far to be in a city with run-down areas. I live in a liberal area. The middle of the state is like Kentucky but it’s a wonderful place to go camping.
All races are welcomed. This is a very populous state so there are racists. We are the first state above the mason Dixon line making this state the first refuge for people fleeing slavery back in the bad old days. We have a large Hispanic population as well.
There are Churches, Mosques, synagogues, Hindu temples and more in my neighborhood. My kids go to public school and have off for the major religious holidays of various religions. Their gender identities and sexual orientations are respected in school.
I live in a rural township 30 minutes from the city of brotherly love. I enjoy fishing, dining out, having BBQs, seeing shows, and chilling maybe smoking a little medical marijuana to relax.

It’s a sure bet that if it’s plant, fungus, or animal the Chinese have been using it for thousands of years.

Driving Rt. 30 ya say? Careful driving through West Whiteland. Probably about 90% of their budget is traffic stops and court fees. Failed to stop for 3 seconds at that stop sign? “That’s an automatic 3 points on your license. By the way this is a drug free school zone that I forced you to be pulled over in and I noticed you have medicated chap stick in your cup holder. If you cooperate with me, I can make this easy on you mmmmkay?”

I’m really disappointed that there is such a thing as “maladaptive daydreaming.” I see that as a problem with society and not the daydreamer. DAYDREAMERS RIGHTS! TO YOUR PARACOSMOS EVERYONE!!

I’ve found that when people get older they either get sweeter and lovelier or crabbier and more bitter. Perhaps it was an older neighbor who didn’t know what they were seeing and confabulated some details. Maybe they couldn’t help it.

How do they feel about inhaled medicines like albuterol? Or inhaled corticosteroids? My sister lives in Brisbane and just had a severe asthma episode. Does the inhaled drug stigma extend to those drugs?
I used to smoke 25 cigarettes per day. I did quit 15 years ago. And granted, I didn’t replace it with anything at the time, I couldn’t fathom attempting a 1:1 replacement with joints. I didn’t try marijuana until my 40s in order to address medical issues. People with epilepsy and cancer who need round the clock relief usually don’t rely on inhaled THC anyhow because it’s short acting.

I actually don’t have enough of that enzyme that does the conversion so it takes about 4 hours for me to feel any effect and then I am extremely high for about 3 days. My first experience with oral administration was an absolute living nightmare where I was unable to leave what I thought was a sofa for days. Turns out it was an unassembled ikea futon, essentially a pile of boards that I laid on for 72 hours as people came and went all around me.

No one would smoke 25 joints per day to replace a tobacco habit. That’s bonkers.
Anyway. Boof it.
