Oregon has kept statistics for 25 years. About 90 people a year have used this, not the thousands your exaggerated fear-mongering suggest.

The requirements are so narrow and this would be used by so few people that it’s not going to impact any insurance company’s bottom line. This has been legal in Oregon for 25 years and about 2,200 people have taken advantage of it. That’s fewer than 100 a year. (Source)

They can’t be afraid of the insurance lobby. It’s also nonsense because the state will likely contract with private health insurance companies to administer the coverage.

Stephen King for sure lived in Stratford for a while as a child and talks about it in his book On Writing. He doesn’t mention the train incident, but he does talk about how a trashed, vacant lot near his family’s apartment in Stratford has appeared in many of his books, including It.

Are you sure you were at the XL Center? I was there two weeks ago for Cirque de Solei and it was absolutely fine. Seats weren’t that comfortable, but I don’t expect much in a stadium setting.

Unfortunately they don’t assign seats for tickets bought in advance. It’s also difficult to find the first time.

Not sure if this is up your alley, but Air Temple Arts in Woodbridge does circus classes of all kinds. While they don’t do gymnastic stuff, a lot of the floorwork classes are tumbling adjacent.

I hate to say it, but the policy of flying just the state, federal, and town flags is probably the safest and most equitable from a liability standpoint.

Some rescue groups have cats in which the adoption fees have been “donated” or “sponsored” by others. You still have to go through the application process.

When purchasing, your realtor works for you. If you don’t feel you’re getting objective advice, you need to get a new agent.
