This reality / human experience we we're are all on a similar path , I mean having lives of limitation , cultural conditioning , mostly labor ect. , but post Agi I think will open so much abundance , so many paths and doors , and not everyone is going to want to do the same things . And choose the same options . There is going to be so some revelation of human / consciousness in general and it really depends on how AGI / the universe works ... This entire paragraph seems was vague lol . That's my hazy prediction of the future I guess .

Academia is not wisdom ...academia to some extent is engineered to make people more narrow minded , climb down your ivory tower , You just sound like an arrogant nihilist ..username checks out , Oblivious people are amazing because they can explore oblivion , one can harvest true wisdom ; mystery and astonishment is bountiful in the void .

Technology today ,in 2023 is just as natural as the Amazon rainforest , human civilization built up to this point and most people- (hunter gatherers , farmers for most of our timeline ) these days are over stressed and overloaded with modern busy lives . Overloaded with information ect. Things this century has been starting to speed up exponentially and our evolution isn't keeping up . All the toxicity of modern civilization is like the growing pains of a era of abundance ect. Post AGI I can only hope .

...good point . Doesn't matter no job ramifications , just so much more freedom in general .. physically , as well as mentally , no more brain police .scarcity of resources has everything so authoritarian . I don't think there will be any need to cookie cut people like make people do ..anything they don't want to do.
