AFAIA there is no legislative requirement for the Red Tip in Australia, however it is strongly encouraged. How long before some states ban toy guns altogether is another mater altogether

Seems they are going after him with firearms charges. NSW leans HEAVILLY into the appearance law parts of the NFA I believe. Wonder if the "But it isn't a firearm" argument would fly. I am presuming it wouldn't as they are arguing it could have the "appearance" of a prohibited firearm and that is enoughl.

Huh, I think I may be getting things jumbled. I think it was the noise made after season 2, when yeah Syfy dropped it and Prime picked it up I was thinking of. Derp.
I remember something about there being a 30 year gap between where events are in the series, vs the next point in book. Sooo maybe in a couple more years it could pick up again.

Sadly I can totally agree with that. It probably is exactly that sorta cold blooded math. I mean they are a business entity seeking profit after all. Further to that I wonder if people signing up and immediately watch show X would be a boost to said show.
Perhaps that is why Amazon stuck with as they weighted such a metric differently.

I feel the need to Chime in with The Expanse. It was popular enough with fans that NF picked it up for season 2 but then decided to drop it. Where Amazon picked it up and ran with it for another 2.5 seasons. Sooo tell me how this was an "unsuccessful show" as I suspect there may be a difference of opinion there

Agreed. I caught the very first ep on YT when it was fist released as a teaser. And man from that first high G burn it had me hooked. the almost total lack of magical mcgubbins (I am looking at you Star Trek inertial dampers) with the minor exception of the juice just cemented it for me

Trust me given how far everything/one comes from where they start in ep 1 vs finale, you should be fine. I just finished rewatching it myself for reference.

Heh, now they get given rabbit aids/Ebola. And as horrible as that may sound, is still only making a dent in their population
