Good to know.
That stretch of Falls road... If you make the mistake of walking it once, you won't walk it again.

If you're coming from Hampden, you can head down 36th then ash street and then go on that road that looks like a driveway. (mill race). That neighborhood southwest of Roosevelt park is all very nice walking. Not trafficky.
From there, there's a little path, then the footbridge. I have walked mill race road but never actually went up and over the footbridge.
If you look at this over head on Google maps, it will make more sense.
It actually looks like a cool little walk of you're into walking weird places. Don't need to walk on Clipper Mill Road at all.

I enjoy that promo. "Hey, nice to see you!" He gets some popcorn. It bothers me how much left over there is on his collar.
I love the Johns Waters smoking one. I don't think they play it any more, or I've just missed it on rotation.
The one of all the people sitting in the row with the drumming and the clown bothers me. It doesn't make sense. I think they should have just had a row with people making tons of noise, then the movie starts and they all go instantly silent. Then the text comes up, "please no 'blah blah blah' during the movie". Instead, they have the "normal" guy say "quiet down" and then they all shush him. It doesn't make sense. Why are they shushing him? Are we supposed to understand that they're comfortable with general noise, as long as it's not speaking? Are they all together (a clown AND a drummer?) and ganging up on him? If he's not with them, why are they all sitting in the same row? He's like one guy against 6. He'd be better off getting an usher. I think this one is from Stevenson and makes me lose respect for their film school.

You can get in a cab and be there in 15 minutes and not have to find parking at all.

It's "really close" to Hampden in some kind of global sense, but it's not really close like you're walking to Golden West on Wednesday at 6 PM to get a burrito (even though you could).
That said, I like that area from Druid Hill going west. I don't know the neighborhood boundaries perfectly, but those places on Hilton along the lake are awesome. Seems like you could walk to the Shoprite or Druid Hill, which is nice and you have the other park/lake right there.

People come and pick up my trash and recycling every week.
My poop disappears when I flush it.
I am able to park my car on a public street 365 days a year.
I get drinkable water when I turn on the tap.
I take frequent walks through Druid Hill park, Jones Falls Trail, Stony Run.
I have trees planted on my street.
I ASSUME I'd experience more crime if there was no police force.
I get all that for about $4000 a year.
I don't wonder where my tax dollars are going. Sometimes I wonder just how much they could charge me before I'd leave.

The only chicken I'd get excited for is some version of Nashville Hot Chicken, preferably something started by someone local.
Doesn't have to be Princes or Hattie B's. Other people are doing it these days and branching out a little.
I know about Gingers, but I haven't been and as far as I can tell, all they do is tenders and sliders. Not what I'm looking for.

Yeah, you might be right that roads that are being driven on don't freeze as fast as clear roads, but we're seeing such rapid temperature drops that all bets are off.
If you need to drive your baby to the hospital, that's one thing. This dude is talking about going to a movie. It can wait.

I can't figure out where that is. And I know Berry St.
My favorite Berry St story was coming out of Wine Source and watching a guy get out of a white work van and clean his hands in an alley puddle.
That's a dirty job if that alley puddle is how you get CLEANER.

Soldiers Delight, then Farmacy Brewing. I'm not a huge fan of their beer. YMMV.
Loch Raven, then Inverness Brewing.
Pretty Boy Reservoir, then Big Truck Brewing. I am a big fan of this beer.

600 million in Public Funds for Orioles last year and can't watch a game on "over the air" TV.
Fuck 'em. Don't go to games. Don't trade with their sponsors. Fuck 'em right in the face with a big orange dildo.
Last year, you couldn't stream 98 Rock using a service like tuneIN when they had a Ravens game on, either. Like, the straight 98 Rock radio feed with the same commercials and everything. These guys are leeches. Vampires. Suck up every last coin they can find laying around.
You want to watch the birds? Go watch actual birds. It's free.
