I think Springfield could definitely pull any artist on a tour that brought them to KC or st Louis and there's definitely enough of a demand for it. If a place had a nice sound system and some decent screens I would pay a decent amount of money to see them.

The divorce courts are already clogged. If people choose to go through a church or other religious institution to sanctify their marriage, let them. I don't see why I have to seek the crowns approval and why I have to pay them for a permit. People also sue to protect their interests as is. People need to be accountable for their actions, we can't advocate for govt to solve all problems as that gives govt the power to cause a lot of problems.

I just don't understand how marriage is even a governmental issue. At the state or federal level. Marriage permits have their origins in the caste system. Preventing the aristocrats from marrying commoners.

Need to get govt out of our fucking lives. Yet people keep inviting it in and wonder how shit like this happens.

Wow im shocked a cab was cheaper. Luckily it's only about a 7 minute drive but that equates to an hour long walk. I've had trouble in the past in different areas trying to get a ride for a similar distance and have had difficulty because it's such a short trip.

Either way, by the responses in this thread I feel pretty confident I won't be stranded. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to walk though 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately, you are right. Which will keep us on the slow march, which I feel hastened recently, to either red or blue authoritarianism. People seem to advocate for the removal of their own freedoms as long as the party doing it is the right color. What they fail to realize is those regulations they advocated for will be weaponized against them the next cycle.

I just can't stand either anymore, red or blue. I'd be willing to put some time and energy into a third option just there seems to be no option that doesn't involve shoving opinions and beliefs onto others with an indirect threat of force ie laws and regulations. We need to start repealing laws imo and every politicians solution to a problem is writing more laws.

Also most libertarians seem to be stereotypical republicans that smoke weed which I think has garnered libertarianism a bad wrap.
