First off, definitely book an appointment with your local ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) doctor. Sometimes they're overbooked and so you have to wait months.
If you are feeling anxious about it, you can try calling the local hospitals, urgent care clinics, walk-in clinics, etc. and ask them about the emergency ENT hours. The ENTs for hospitals are usually on call, and they're for more immediate things, but you might be able to catch one already there.
If your hearing is not like suddenly gone (this is called sudden hearing loss), they're probably just gonna deprioritize you and so you have to wait for several hours.

Yes, there is no cure to tinnitus/etc. at the moment, but visit /r/tinnitusresearch for more hope as there's a lot of progress being made with the research and treatments. Some say we'll get the products/treatments before or around 2030.
People don't realize how debilitating tinnitus can be and so it's just ignored in the mainstream.
After a while you do get used to tinnitus so just try to endure for now. Habituating to tinnitus can take days, weeks, months, years, so just try to research about what the causes are, how to potentially (don't fall for snake oil cures/etc.) reduce it, etc.
And then after you spend a day or week researching about tinnitus, try to not think about it ever again. A lot of us only really get reminded that we have tinnitus when other people talk about it or when things are really silent, say for example when you have IEMs with that vacuum seal and you are idle or not playing sounds, the tinnitus can be super loud.
But yup, just chill for now and try not to get stressed over it. As some people can go into really bad places once they realize that the treatments/etc. for tinnitus, hidden hearing loss, etc. is like several years if not decades away.

Basically take Vitamin D3 + Vitamin K2 and also magnesium glycinate. Make sure the magnesium is the pure glycinate version or if you can afford it, the L-threonate version (supposedly there's some other benefits to L-threonate, but keep in mind that supplements are filled with snake oil, just like the audio hobby). As otherwise the oxide, citrate, etc. versions of magnesium will give you diarrhea or like liquify your poop, so just eat nutrient bars or food with fiber to solidify/harden your poop.
Again, most /r/Supplements are basically snake oil, but visit that subreddit for the brands to use for more effective magnesium (as sometimes brand skirt the efficacy even if they're properly certified by the governments/etc.).
If you have access to Costco, you can get like a quarter of a year or even half a year's worth of supplements for like $30 or so.
Like Costco has Kirkland Vitamin D3 1000IU for $5, and it's 2 bottles of 360 pieces of Vitamin D3, lol.
Then if you want to risk anhedonia, etc. there's also NAC. But again, research the side effects of NAC as some people have really averse reactions to it. Plus it also doesn't really help with tinnitus for some people.
What Vitamin D3 (+ Vitamin K2) and magnesium glycinate will usually do is help with the brain fog, anxiety, etc. and this can help lead the focus away from your realization that you have tinnitus. So basically you'll have a clearer mind but then with that energy you can then focus on less annoying things like tinnitus.
Oh and I almost forgot L-theanine. So you know tea or those beverages that make you calm, a lot of them have L-theanine in them and that's basically the calming ingredient. L-theanine is a proven legit thing, though don't take too much as some people get headaches/etc. or something like that.
NAC also helps with brain fog, etc. but again, it can sometimes be expensive or actually it's unavailable for some people these days due to regulations (can't believe they actually prohibited NAC because of COVID-19 usage and classified it as a drug, smh, but that's a different story). And yes, the side effects can be quite pronounced, so do some research about it as some people see no benefit when using it to deal with tinnitus. Though just note that it's like magnesium/Vitamin D3/etc. as NAC can sometimes help with the brain fog, focus, etc. for some people.
FYI, I am not a medical doctor or in the medical industry. I do have a lot of family (and friends) that work in hospitals/clinics/etc. but that bears nothing as a lot of them are anti-vax and so on, like it's so irrational since they're doctors, nurses, etc. But it is what it is. I'm basically the only one wearing ((K)N95) masks still every time I go outside, and some of those folks that interact with at-risk people (the elderly, overweight, immunocompromised, etc.) just don't take proper precautions anymore.
The point in saying that is because some people are reporting tinnitus from the Moderna/Pfizer/etc. vaccines. And same thing when you get actual COVID-19 from other people. So always wear a mask at all times.
Even if the risk of tinnitus/etc. is increased with the vaccines, please believe in science and progress and get regular vaccinations. It is a trade off, but look at all those people suffering from Long COVID and other neurological/cardiological/etc. problems.
Once again, definitely see an actual certified ENT doctor. They'll probably say the same thing that there's no cure for tinnitus/etc. but at least it'll help give you reassurances that a medical professional IRL gave the diagnosis/etc. to you.

Hey, I have many Realtek ALC897/1200/etc. motherboards. Most motherboards will be using Realtek ALC897/ALC1200/etc. even if they're expensive, check the specifications and photos of the I/O (where all the USB/Ethernet/plugs/etc. are) to confirm the audio features you want. Usually the simple green 3.5mm port is all you need but some people need extra things if they want to use speakers and so on.
Sometimes the implementation is just bad, so you do have to get an external audio device to fix that background hissing/buzzing/static/distortion/etc.

Basically search up Noctua fans. Specifically the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans.
These days there's the Thermaltake ToughFan 12, Phanteks T30-120, etc. that are a bit cheaper/better/etc. compared to Noctua. The Arctic P12 PWM PST (5 Pack) is still the best value, just be aware of the annoying resonance range, it's like ~1000RPM.
There's also the new Arctic P12 Max that recently just came out, check the reviews of it.
So yes just a get a well-reviewed dongle with physical volume control, it'll reduce the noise for sure. A lot of dongles are overkill, even the $10-50 ones, so don't worry about them not being able to drive your headphones.

Some customization for touch controls is present in some ~$50 TWS earbuds with those apps. It's not that common either though.

Search up Delta Fyre, Hi-Fri Audio, etc. Those people on Facebook that do teardowns/dissections/etc. of IEMs. They'll show you the drivers being used, the dampening measures, the crossovers, etc.
Right now the Simgot EA500 is receiving a lot of hype and due to the removable nozzle, some people are doing tuning foam mods and so on. Some people are also using the removable nozzle of the Moondrop Kato and so on with the EA500.
To replace the filter/mesh/et cetera, usually those are like $2-5+ from AliExpress. So just need to wait a few weeks. Maybe they're on Amazon too, check around there sometimes, you might need to use specific keywords for them to show up.
Usually people use say 400-500 for the size/etc. of the meshes/etc.

Don't forget ear tips. They can make or break the sound quality due to the treble resonances from the insertion depth, et cetera.
These days a lot of ear tips are medical grade silicone and they are often so thin/etc. that the bass is noticeably altered or reduced.

None of us are key players for the Chinese Communist Party or fuerdai children of the various chaebol/zaibatsu/taipan/conglomerate/etc. companies. And so we can't do much but yes shout into the void and hope things change by spreading awareness.
If some of us (the rational, scientific, etc. ones) have the connection/influence/network/etc. to enforce better regulations and so on with these audiophile products, you'd probably see way less cables, DAPs, amps, DACs, etc. snake oil and fake marketing and so on.
This is why Amazon is key if you can afford such luxury products. These days Linsoul, HiFiGo, ShenzhenAudio, KeepHiFi, et cetera have storefronts (these are often Fulfilled by Amazon too, so better warranty/etc. and can ship same day or the next day) on the various Amazon sites. Like check Amazon USA, Amazon UK, Amazon Germany, Amazon Japan, et cetera as they often ship internationally.
As an aside, I and many others get offered free, as in literally 0% interest rate, installment plans on IEMs/TWS earbuds/headphones/speakers/etc. or TVs/monitors/computers/etc. And this is probably because we spend a lot on Amazon and barely return stuff unless absolutely necessary. So that's another layer of bonus for us consumers worried about quality assurances/control/etc. problems.
For AliExpress/Taobao/Chinese sites/et cetera, if you don't want to risk problems in the future, always take a video of you opening the package and trying out the product for the first time. This way they cannot claim random excuses to deny your refund/return/etc.
For some people those precaution measures are not how things should be done and so they don't do it. Like if you take pictures they will sometimes deny the refund/etc. too. Or if you are trying to show the sound/defect/etc. problem on video, sometimes the customer service representative has no idea what is going on, and so you have to go in circles and be persistent.
If you're Asian/et cetera, this kind of haggling/negotiation is not that unfamiliar, but it can be really annoying if you're not used to it. What you have to realize is that in a lot of cultures, especially Chinese culture, there's this concept called "face."
What that basically boils down to is that do not be so pushy as to make the seller/storefront/etc. look bad. In fact, just remain calm and communicate in simple sentences as oftentimes the person talking to you is not that fluent in English and so things can get misunderstood.
Some well-known storefronts on AliExpress also scam/etc. people despite having 97/98+% rating and being opened for several years. And so that's why you gotta know how to deal with AliExpress' chat system, visit /r/Aliexpress for more info as it can be a hassle sometimes to navigate the customer service side. Even Amazon these days is like hiding the easy visibility/option for online chat, they just want you to use the premade FAQs for the troubleshooting.

Back to the actual Truthear HOLA or IEMs. Try cleaning the filters/nozzle, it might fix the channel imbalance issue. Try also switching cables to see if it solves the problem.
Though yes, people report drivers dying for no reason with the Moondrop Chu, Aria, etc. The prevalence could be due to the amount of volume that Moondrop/etc. sell, or yes just factory/design choices/etc. issues from the start.
Btw, some people damage their IEMs by dropping them all the time or getting the cables tangled/yanked/etc. Make sure to roadie wrap your IEM cables, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fsvANAT3yg, and put them inside a case with hard covers in order to protect them when you're not using the IEMs anymore.
For long term use you might encounter condensation issues with IEMs, try to take breaks every 30 minutes or 1 hour, and wipe the ear tips and IEMs with a clean paper towel or microfiber cloth.

Essentially for the future, just use a clean paper towel or microfiber cloth and wipe your ear tips and IEMs after each use. That should prevent/delay the clogging/condensation/etc. issues. It's just a problem with certain IEMs, more so the ones with metal outer shell designs. And if you live in a humid area or produce a lot of body heat.

Basically use 90+% isopropyl alcohol but make sure the IEM nozzle is facing down as you don't want alcohol to get inside and possibly damage the coating/drivers/etc. behind the nozzle/filters/etc. And then wait several minutes for it to dry, better to wait an hour or so for near certainty that everything is dry.
So ya, you can delay those earwax issues if you use AZLA SednaEarfit MAX Standard (MAX Standard has an integrated wax guard), Spinfits, etc. Like Spinfits have this inner lip for the rotation gimmick and that sometimes help with slowing down the earwax from dripping directly down on the nozzle/filter.

Hey, sometimes TWS earbuds using the newer (Qualcomm/Airoha/etc.) chipsets are opting for the more powerful ones (the new chipset are usually more efficient with the battery life, so it's just the manufacturers opting to have better performance instead of battery life) and so this can drain the battery more.
Oh and make sure they're using the same codec. Usually LDAC will drain the battery a lot (and add more latency), and so you can just use AptX Adaptive or regular AptX as not a lot of people can tell the differences.

I sometimes listen to deathcore/etc. metal too and honestly, just like with any other genre, your open back headphones shouldn't really be leaking that much sound if you're listening at normal hearing levels.
If you're playing games with repetitive particles or special effects, it might get annoying if other people are in the same room as you and they have like sensitive hearing or something.
For the most part, it shouldn't be that loud, you'll know what I mean as you can just leave the headphones on the table after setting your comfortable volume and then that's basically what other people kinda hear around you when you're wearing it.

Make sure that you have a vacuum seal with the ear tips for IEMs/TWS earbuds, and then for headphones it's the earpads. This will help with the noise reduction/isolation and should prevent you from getting tempted to raise the volume against the external noises in order to hear your own music/sounds.

Moisture/humidity is one of the main killers of IEMs, I wouldn't risk that, go for TWS earbuds with IPX5/7 water resistant or waterproof ratings instead.

There's a lot of heat and such with hot tubs, it's gonna oxidize the cables, clog the ports/plugs, et cetera.
TWS earbuds can still get clogged even if they have those IPX/etc. ratings. You just have to be proactive with cleaning or wiping them after each use.

Essentially for the future, just use a clean paper towel or microfiber cloth and wipe your ear tips and IEMs after each use. That should prevent/delay the clogging/condensation/etc. issues. It's just a problem with certain IEMs, more so the ones with metal outer shell designs. And if you live in a humid area or produce a lot of body heat.

Basically use 90+% isopropyl alcohol but make sure the IEM nozzle is facing down as you don't want alcohol to get inside and possibly damage the coating/drivers/etc. behind the nozzle/filters/etc. And then wait several minutes for it to dry, better to wait an hour or so for near certainty that everything is dry.

For the powered speakers, you might want an actual thing for that. As dongles (without volume control) and so on will often make the buzzing/static/hissing/etc. noises way louder.
Btw, most motherboards even with the S/PDIF, or like 5.1 options, and so on can have the buzzing/etc. real loud when you're gaming at high framerates/resolution. So the dongle with physical volume control can fix that. For the coil whine, see one of my posts nested within those threads but generally you just undervolt or get Noctua coolers/fans.
The motherboards will pretty much be with Realtek ALC897/ALC1200/etc. even if it's like an expensive one, so make sure you look at the specifications and the I/O pictures properly for your desired outputs/inputs and so on.
So definitely make sure you can reduce/remove that random background buzzing noise with the external audio devices. Some amps/DACs/etc. like say from iFi will often still have the hissing or sensitivity. So just do some research and avoid ones where people complained about those static noises. Especially when idle or with not sounds playing, the static noise can get really irritating.

Basically search up Noctua fans. Specifically the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans.
These days there's the Thermaltake ToughFan 12, Phanteks T30-120, etc. that are a bit cheaper/better/etc. compared to Noctua. The Arctic P12 PWM PST (5 Pack) is still the best value, just be aware of the annoying resonance range, it's like ~1000RPM.

Sometimes stock/original cables are just way too staticky and so if you replace them it will get reduced/removed. Usually using a dongle even with those staticky IEMs will do the job though.
Again better if a dongle with physical volume control as you just click to the lowest volumes with the physical buttons and adjust on the Windows volume slider or phone app/volume slider instead.

Simgot is essentially restricted to the Chinese market back then, but with this new EA500 they might be known a bit more. Apparently some Chinese IEM enthusiasts discovered the EA500 back in November 11.11 sale or something like that, but it's only now (past month) that people are getting the EA500 in the western/Anglo side of the world.
They actually have the more expensive EA2000 that's using this passive bass radiator thing but the tuning is not as well-received as this EA500.
Some of us browsers of Head-Fi/etc. know of Simgot because of the SIMGOT EM2R as it has that classy/medieval/etc. Chinese woman art style, kinda like the TANGZU Zetian Wu or TANGZU Wan'er S.G and so on. Some people were saying the Chu with the mic version definitely had static.
I used my Chu with the Qudelix 5K/etc. and so I had no static, IIRC. It might be different if you are just using it straight to the 3.5mm port/plug of the the computer.
Definitely get a dongle with physical volume control for your computer, it'll fix that issue.

Oh no, if your ears were bleeding five years ago then yup, it's probably physical trauma or hearing damage. Unfortunately there's no cure for hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, etc. at the moment.

Definitely book an appointment with your local Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) doctor as they'll help you figure out your current situation. Make sure to also regularly visit the audiologist/etc. for hearing health testing and also manual earwax removal.
If you have blocked sinuses, Eustachian Tube Dysfunction, etc. then you may have to take anti-allergy (antihistamines/etc.) medicine, do certain exercises with your jaw/ears/etc.

Hmm, if only using TWS earbuds for 2 hours a day, that means you may be sensitive to certain frequencies. Try using a sine sweep to find out which frequencies are those and then (parametric) EQ them down.
I use TWS earbuds/adapters or Bluetooth headphones for like more than half the day (basically every week) at lowest volumes and never really get intensified ringing with tinnitus. And like my tinnitus is real bad sometimes, so that's why I always listen at lowest possible volumes.
Wait, don't forget to Disable Absolute Volume in the Developer Options of the (Android) phone. This will let you have more volume variation, particularly useful for achieving lowest volumes possible.

Oh yes that's true but in reality if people are on a budget it's not really that worth it. Like IIRC a lot artists these days have merchandise and those have better support options to the artist.
In the Kpop/Jpop(/Cpop/etc.) world, some of us also just buy CDs, exclusive socialization access, sponsored brands, etc. for our favorite idols. There's also the option to meet them through the staff members, fan meeting, et cetera.
Or like these days some of them are in New York, Milan, Paris, etc. doing Prada, Gucci, Chanel, etc. promotions as the local/global ambassadors for the brands. And so some fans just show support on the actual IRL sidelines by hyping the idol up when they're on the way to the event/show. Sometimes in those western fashion events, the idols take so much time interacting with the fans or signing stuff that they get told to hurry up by the event people, lol.
I forgot exactly what the ratio was, but IIRC, touring or concert sales are one of the biggest ways to support artists aside from merchandise. Otherwise streaming or spreading the word is also good enough.

That's normal, it's like crinkling, tinnitus, blood rush, etc. that people hear when using closed back headphones or IEMs and TWS earbuds, and so on. That's part of why some people can't use Etymotics (basically best noise reduction/isolation available, often on sale too) as it makes them too conscious of their breathing, heart beat, etc. and they don't think they can get used to it (the hyperawareness disappears over time).
If you describe it as creaking with the jaw, search up TMJ issues.

To not hear the hum of the PC, you can try getting aftermarket case fans for your computer case and also your GPU and CPU.
I use Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM for basically everything, but that's only because I'm really sensitive to noises. Most people will be fine with the Arctic P12 PWM PST (5 Pack), just be aware of certain RPM ranges with that particular case fan.
FYI, the cooler your room is, the less revving up and down that your computer case fans and GPU/CPU cooler fans will do (especially when under sustained load from high framerate/resolution), so just be aware of the overall ambient temperature.
If you are encountering actual coil whine or buzzing from the GPU/CPU, you can change the coolers and fans for those. If you are hearing buzzing from the hard drive, there's 1TB/etc. NVMe SSDs or the older SATA SSDs for real cheap these days and it looks like they'll keep getting cheaper for the near future, so no need to hear noises from the hard drive, get one of those external hard drive docks/readers/instead if you want to access your excess media.

Basically search up Noctua fans. Specifically the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans.
These days there's the Thermaltake ToughFan 12, Phanteks T30-120, etc. that are a bit cheaper/better/etc. compared to Noctua. The Arctic P12 PWM PST (5 Pack) is still the best value, just be aware of the annoying resonance range, it's like ~1000RPM.

If you get (legit, the expensive heavy ones, not the light/cheap/etc. ones) blackout curtains and tape them, it should do some changes. Though actually even using those plastic film thermal insulation kits did nicely as the vacuum seal on the window reduced the sound a lot.
Those thermal insulation kits will help a lot with not needing to run the air conditioner (or heater) all the time, you can keep it on a timer if your AC unit has that option. Just make sure to achieve that good/perfect vacuum seal with the windows when it comes to taping it. There's also those door draft stopper or like foam you put at the bottom of the door, those can actually help quite a bit too with retaining the heat/cold, believe it or not.

Don't worry too much about the artist payout and just pick whichever is more convenient or has particular features that you like. For some people Spotify's discovery of new stuff is essential, etc. Don't forget about Deezer, Qobuz, and so on for lossless/etc.

Since you're on Windows and Android, don't forget parametric EQ too. Sometimes those apps for EQ on Android don't work for certain streaming services though.

You can do (parametric) EQ with $8 Neutron Music Player or UAPP on Android. If on PC, the free (Peace) Equalizer APO. There are free apps on Android(/Apple) that can also do a good enough job, but most of them have those graphics sliders instead of parametric or just plug the numbers in EQ. EQ can also be used to help with channel or ear imbalances.
There's also the free Wavelet app that has the AutoEQ available now. And other free apps for more simple graphic sliders EQ, etc.

Like the OKSC one on Amazon is loose with the IE 200 and my FiiO UTWS3/5 TWS adapters, it falls off easily with certain angles and movements. But it works pretty well, just don't move too fast or tilt your head that much.

Try Spinfit CP100+, W1, CP145, etc. Those have a rotation gimmick that actually kinda works.
For the CP100+ and W1, those also have medical grade silicone material that should help with the itching/uncomfortableness/allergies/etc. A lot of new silicone ear tips these days basically have that medical grade silicone material now, but in the future, always make sure to get that so that your ears don't itch/etc.
Yes, you can use different-sized ear tips to have a better fit/seal, but for me the sound can change drastically as the bass/treble/etc. shift to one side and so on due to the mismatched dimensions/sizing/etc. of the ear tips.
