Yeah so idk why you are arguing with me. I just stated reality. Internet Library did something they weren’t allowed too, functionally stole money from publishers, and now publishers want their money. It honestly doesn’t even sound evil even if it’s obscenely greedy

It’s more like the Internet Library tried to give out digital copies during Covid Lockdowns, didn’t go through the proper procedures to do that, then had authors who weren’t getting any benefit from unlimited digital rentals on Internet Library, those authors raise a stink then the publishers decide to get litigious.

But that isn’t even fully true when you compare the massive amount of illnesses that would have been more common due to poor hygiene. Many of these diseases could infect through any open holes in the body or anything they eat and just give them a bad enough fever they get brain damage.

There are people that speak the Vedic Sanskrit, it is extremely useful in figuring out the Proto-Indo-European Language. That is the old Sanskrit.
Fun fact, a Sanskrit Scholar would have been able to talk to a Lithuanian peasant back in ye olde’ time because their languages were similar enough.

They have already pretty much made the future tech they advertised had failed in the 90s. Connecting the tanks together with wireless connections, smart ammo that is able to redirect itself while flying through the air at top speed. Creating a ultra precise weapon system, electronic capabilities that allow for a manned crew to be much safer. On the horizon it is fully autonomous systems with quick response repair experts guarded and on standby.

Like the fact that there is an ongoing war in the DRC that has more life lost than WWII should speak volumes to the fact that minerals and precious metals are still being extracted there and sent overseas without any interruption.
People often roll their eyes at "The west is bad" narrative, but there has to be some EV companies(Every car manufacturer world wide) bankrolling warlords there to guarantee there is no logistical issues.

Don’t let these people drop your guard. I went to school as smoking was falling rapidly. Sometimes we would even talk about how cool it was that our generation had basically cut smoking off by 80%. The ads they used against us must have actually worked. They generally focused on how bad you would smell, teeth yellowing, bad breath, being broke, bad smelling car etc.
However, Big Tobacco just created a smoking device that mitigates some of those problems and now everyone is hooked. Even people you wouldn’t expect like the book worm is hooked.
Also, these vapes use Salt Nic solutions, which are 30% stronger and more addictive than the cigarettes with the same amount as before.
Fortunately, people are also quitting. A number of people are super casual about quitting and it isn’t some weird thing to not smoke. If I’m at a party and everyone’s vaping and I get offered, I genuinely feel like no one has ever felt off by me turning it down. I usually just throw out “I’m quittin” and sometimes they will just say good luck and leave it at that.
So I think this generation will have more quitters and more absolute fiends who will be miserable without constant nicotine.
