Not my first time in England and that’s a somewhat dated stereotype. And I personally loooooovve steak & kidney pies. And Indian food in England is otherworldly. Plenty of great food.

The Fitzrovia one is the one near me! Though I do hesitate to potentially waste a foreign meal on it, with a bunch of kids it might be a good call one night

One of my favorite recent very-Philly observations is that there’s a spot where taking a left onto 2nd was previously pretty dangerous but now an enormous pothole on 2nd functions as a yield sign slowing oncoming traffic considerably & improved the safety of the intersection

Yeah sorry I thought of that later. I have both & the text came from a number that emails me about my Verizon Fios account so assumed it was Fios

My great grandmother came from Mexico illegally. By the time immigration found her, she had two sons in the Navy and two daughters working in bomber plants in World War II. They told her she was more American than most and just left her alone

They are legal. Read the article. “Migrants” not illegal immigrants. That means they’re doing something 100% illegal.

I think he means the piers along the Delaware. There’s a path (basically a sidewalk connecting parking lots and vacant lots) and I assume that’s where the non-party is. The empty pier nearest the Walmart. Early Covid, when everyone decided to go for walks, I went down there once or twice.

Yeah & worth it to spring for a remote starter if you don’t already have one, particularly if you won’t have a garage.
Would add Darn Tough socks to the list and some LL Bean clothes/gear too.

I was guessing camel hair wool coats would be the recommendation here but I’m admittedly out of my area of expertise!

Oh this is good to know. I roll deep with 4 Philly daughters. Should we do 4 singles or one family one? What’s the vibe of the wall?
