I think we can all agree that the dirt bike/ atv plague is a citywide problem that needs a solution; mainly for the police to stop sitting on their hands and enforce the fucking law. That said, anybody here over the age of 20 was once a stupid, reckless 20 year old. Was what he did dumb? Undoubtedly. Did he “deserve” it? No, of course not…. What he deserved was a stronger and wiser support system; someone (just one person!) to step in and say, “Dude, not a great idea…”.
While we can be angry at the situation as a whole, we can also mourn the loss of life and sympathize with ALL involved.

Please look into getting your CCW here in the Ocean State. I live in a town where it was considered very difficult to obtain a town permit but got it first shot (no pun intended). A lot of municipalities saw the writing on the wall once the Supreme Court decision against NYC came down and have been much more receptive to applicants. DM me if you need any advice. Good luck.

I’ve worked at two animal hospitals in the state, Northern Rhode Island Animal Hospital in North Smithfield and Rhode Island Animal Medical Center in Warwick. Both of them of have in-house dental care. If price is an issue both can recommend credit/payment options. Don’t be afraid to have a very frank discussion with the technician about money; they’ve heard it all and want to help you help the pup. I’d also recommend pet insurance. It can be had through most auto insurance companies and definitely helps. Good luck to you and the pup.

True. 195 and 95 are so fickle. One day you might coast through with time to spare. All it takes is one asshole is the S curves and you’re stuck in a 3 hour traffic jam. Or heavy rain; why would anyone build a highway that wouldn’t drain!!

Meh…. Woods stoves are a good backup and alternative. For homes that can use them, they’re definitely worth having. But as a main source, no thanks. You’re either hustling all year to get woods stacked, covered and seasoned yourself or you’re at the whim, price wise, of whoever is selling cords. Yes it’s relatively inexpensive but my labor costs something too…

Don’t try to argue with the hive mind…. These folks want to say that when a gay man diddles a little boy that he doesn’t represent all gay men. And they’re correct. But they’re also the first to jump on the “all priest are pedos” bandwagon. Pointing out the hypocrisy does no good, they’re not that introspective.

I think it was more the fact that the items prohibiting a pass for the inspection were piling up. If you’re coming back to a client telling them that their case won’t pass I’m assuming you’ve performed the whole inspection and found X amount of issues. Not one then another then another. That kind of shady shit is what doesn’t pass the smell test…. You don’t need to be a mechanic to know when you’re being taken for a ride. I’m assuming you have a basic understanding of human fallacy?

Some people don’t get that exposure to a relatively mild virus (the cold) prepares the body to fight off a multitude of other viruses. The reason that we’re having such a noticeable uptick in upper respiratory viral infections is because there has been very little low level exposure for the last two years resulting in the viruses continuing to mutate naturally and our immune systems not keeping up.
