I don’t know where in CA you live but there are direct flights at least once a week between Springfield and LA. You might have better luck trying for that flight and then get a connecting one closer to your hometown. That way you don’t have the layover.

We’ve lived here two years and have had great experiences flying out of Springfield , but we’ve never traveled at the holidays so I don’t know what’s normal then. I feel like there are always news stories, though, about the craziness of air travel at the holidays — bad weather, canceled flights, people stuck at airports, etc. so it may just be the time of year you’re flying (which you can’t help — I mean, of course you want to be with family at Christmas).

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience twice.

I am out bc I had to take a child to the dr. An hour ago they weren’t too bad — not many people out and if you just go slow and brake ahead of time, it was okay. Waiting at the pharmacy now so not sure if they’ve gotten worse but it’s definitely been snowing more in the last hour than before.

What he has done is good marketing but it’s also just called being a good person and putting good out into the community. If he were only concerned with making money, he wouldn’t give so much of it away — to the community, supporting other restaurants, taking his employees on all-expense paid vacations. He is successful because he wants to change how the industry treats people.

Thai Express is locally owned and operated. It’s not a chain. If you’re thinking of the chain, that’s why the owner Patrick officially renamed his business Simply Thai as he looks to open more locations in town. So the sign says Thai Express by Simply Thai. He was going to change the name completely but was afraid people wouldn’t recognize that it’s the same restaurant as the old Glenstone location.

I agree with this. I know MU Extension (specifically the woman who heads up 4H) has been asked by SPS to teach all kindergartners and 1st graders how to ride a bike. Her hope is that this will help raise a generation of cyclists that will help fuel our growth in that area.
