Have you looked on Indeed? I have seen a lot of places hiring -- grocery stores, Missouri State (you can even check out their "student jobs" on their site -- they are just part-time work), the hospitals.

Do you like to read magazines? The library center has a nice magazine reading room.

Yeah, I was going to say that they tend to run a positive magazine. I wonder if a letter to the editor to the two papers might be effective — maybe not specifically calling out his name but holding people accountable for local toxic Fb groups and just implying it’s him or a local business owner and let people figure it out.

Or would they not publish it bc it’s about a specific person?

I feel like this is going down to his level. What about a letter to the editor?

Here are a few of my favorites: Greek Belly (soo good), any of the Thai restaurants (I love to support Thai Express bc the owner does so much for the community but I like the food a little better at some of the others), City Barbecue, Skully’s Ramen, and Brother’s Tacos (their birria tacos are really good).

It took me 4 tries before I found a dish at Cafe Cusco that I liked, and I’m a pretty easy person to please. (The pork belly tacos are amazing, though!)

Hamilton is coming to Juanita Hammons Hall in February…as much as Branson gets made fun of, there are some excellent shows there (I recommend the Haygoods).

The Review Shoppe has high-end clothes for around $15 and up. Goodwill (at least the one on Kansas Expressway) is actually pretty decent.

He also said that there is a meeting — I think tomorrow night? For the neighborhood and anybody else who is interested where they plan to unveil what they hope to do.

The developer told me that he doesn’t plan to knock down the homes but he does plan to move them in tact. This one was just in such bad shape that there was no salvaging it.

My understanding is that the neighbors have opposed using that house for anything other than a family living there. They even were against someone using it as a guesthouse for families who have a family member in the hospital. No one wanted to buy it so it sat abandoned for years. Then a developer bought it — I actually just met him bc he is a neighbor. He told me the house was in such disrepair that the wood was rotting, and the people who had tried to live there had astronomical utility costs because it wasn’t well-insulated.
