I for sure have experienced this. Happens fairly often, usually when Im lying in bed, close to falling asleep, or just waking up. My limbs will feel distorted, bigger than normal, or super sensitive, like I can feel individual parts of them, or the blood running through my veins, or I just feel like a giant that could step over a mountain in a single step.

Sometimes its mild, other times its quite unnerving and intense, but it never lasts longer than 20 mins or so. Was never able to explain it as a kid, so I didnt try. Now I know what it is.

One day while driving over the mountains, I was in the right lane on a double lane highway with a big ditch seperating the oncoming traffic.

Was coming up the crest of a hill, and just as I got over the top, some idiot going the wrong way passed by me in the left lane. It happened so quick I didnt really register what happened until they already passed me, had I been in the left lane, I never would have had the time to react and that would have been a head on collision at 120kph. I doubt I would have survived that.

Fake engine sounds in electric cars have a purpose, its so you can hear the car coming when its going slow (I think its less than 40 or 50kph). If the car is going faster the tires make enough noise.

They had to add the noise makers in because people were getting hit. I remember when my step mom had to take her then new electric car in to get it installed.
